Hillary should have cut her losses early and never even run for President. Her unfavorable standing in the polls were high several years ago, but of course the Clintons have never believed they weren’t liked. She has no one to blame but herself. The rumors of her cold personality and nasty temperament preceded her, and over the years, people have seen for themselves that they were true. Nobody wants a shrew in the White House.

I don't know if anyone can successfully campaign against him because his supporters have left judgement and rational thought behind.

I kind of felt the same way, but then I got to thinking that people are so fickle. Combine that with the early popularity of Obama and the huge amount of time to force his plans out of him, I think he will lose if he is the DEMONcRAT nominee. McCain is popular among the independent and moderate voters. I think he can win by a majority.

BLJ—can you explain the markings on the hood?

I’m from Rio Linda.

At first it looked like someone was hit by the car, but with two sets of handprints, I’m thinking something else was going on!!

Hillary will not go quietly anywhere...she will play parts to get what she wants...if she can’t be the nominee VP will suit her and who knows what can happen after that. She and Obama are so close for the most part and differ on little that if Obama gets the nomination and she is on his ticket no matter how distasteful it may be to him, she might just pull the others his way for what she may be able to convince him would be a landslide...Hillary will not give up she never has and I don’t think will.

Agreed. I kind of hope one of their idiots get elected so we can really see what it’ll be like to see relief when a president’s term is up. Obama is Jimmy Carter. He’ll make an a$$ out of himself. It’s just like the twisted way Hitlery and Obama used McCain’s remark about remaining in Iraq for 100 years. It’s lieing, it’s fraud, it’d perjury in a court of law.

The Clintons are staying on like a nasty obnoxious very visible loud stain that never no matter what their political party does will never go away.

Last night's 19th Demo Debate proves it. She just sat there believing she really didn't have to do anything other than talk on and on about health care. I wish that Campbell Brown, who absolutely had no control of the debate, would have shut her up. It appears health care is the only thing Hillary knows anything about and what she knows is not the correct choice for America.

I sincerely believe Clinton has something on Baracko that will tear down his surging popularity. Hence, the smirkingly gracious final statement of Hillary's at the close, "how honored she is"..."no matter what happens.." etc., sort of like reminding Baracko, you still have your family, the American people have me. Sucker!!!

I think she may be satisfied with becoming Queen of the Senate.

Harry be ready to get dethroned.

She was playing nice last night to induce Prez Obama to choose her as a new liberal Supreme Court justice. Just imagine that disaster! Then she could make the laws to fit her leftist agenda and forget about the legislature.

Obama must never become president! To make sure, we have to get out the panic vote and do all we can now to make sure that Pubbies are elected to the House and Senate as well. The RATs are already counting on a full RAT legislature and the presidency. If that happens, the Republic is dead, the rule of law is over, illegals will increase their invasion, our military will be emasculated and our enemies will win everywhere. Full dhimmitude for all would be just around the corner.

I can't help but be very nervous about this election, perhaps because my pre-election predictions about Carter and Clinton came true and both turned out even worse than I thought they would. Osama would be far worse than those two failures.

I remember an interview with Hillary and Katie Curic sometime before Iowa. Couric asked Hillary what would happen if she did not get the nomination and Hillary said that’s not going to happen. Couric said haven’t you even considered what you’ll do if you aren’t the nomionee and she said no. It was spooky. I’ll see if I can find a transcript.

Found it - from November 28, 2007

KATIE COURIC, ANCHOR, “CBS EVENING NEWS”: If it‘s not you, how disappointed will you be?

SEN. HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON (D-NY), PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: Well, it will be me. But of course, I‘m ready to support the Democratic nominee, whoever it is.

COURIC: I know that you‘re confident it‘s going to be you, but there is the possibility it won‘t be. And clearly, you‘re—you have considered that possibility.

CLINTON: No, I haven‘t. You know, when you get up every day, like I do, and you go out and you meet hundreds and thousands of people and you talk about yourself and you talk about your dreams and hopes for the country, and you talk about what you will do as president and draw the contrast with your opponents, that takes up all my time and energy to just keep presenting myself and my candidacy. So I get up every day intending to meet and reach as many people as possible, and I go to bed at night and I get up and I do it all over again.

COURIC: So you never even consider the possibility.

CLINTON: I don‘t. I don‘t.

I remember what struck me most in the second to the last statement is she just talks about her dreams and plans, never a word about LISTENING to the hundred of thousands of people and what they want from their next president who is supposed to represent them, not be their nanny.

Hillary is starting to look as if she will go quietly into the night. Last nights contest was like a friendly sparring match, not a fight where the manager is in the corner telling his fighter that a knock-out is needed or they lose.

Her campaign had no plan after Super Tuesday. Hillary said as late as December she believed the race would be over then.

At this point even she knows that her campaign is on fumes. The super-delegates are starting to jump on the Obama bandwagon, and the polls (plus the delegate selection process) in Texas are starting to look grim for her. Obama is better organized than she is everywhere, including Ohio and Texas, and he is outspending her on ads by a three to one margin. While the media is focusing on Ohio and Texas she is facing total disaster in Vermont, Rhode Island and then Mississippi and Wyoming.

I think she will go through the motions between now and March 4 and then get out of the race.

However I would not be stunned if she dropped out before then.

Hillary does know how to count.

financial charts

Interesting numbers. I just don't see Pubbies opening their wallets for McCain with the small contributions that have been the basis for previous Republican victories.

Hysteria about Obama is not enough--you have to support someone to give them your hard earned dollars.

I would encourage any Freepers thinking about contributing to McCain to send a check to this great web site instead. That would be a much better investment for the future.

no matter what happens

I interpreted her words as telling her supporters that she wouldn't commit suicide if she lost.

As usual with Hillary, I wasn't convinced.

Man, I’m sorry Michelle Malkin has to even see that sort of abuse. I’m glad she just posts it so people can see the hatred and racism of the left.

Bump

Don't count the evil one out, yet. Not till you see both her legs....and both her arms poking out from 'neath that twister-tossed house....

What keeps most and has kept her following, particularly those in the Democratic apparatus (lower level electeds, pundits, consultants, government experts, etc.) has been abject fear for their careers (some for their lives). They exalt her because they are total socialists like she, or they are very afraid not to. Now, some are seeing the king (queen) may have no clothes and an overthrow 'might' succeed. Once this feeling is pervasive, the spillover will break the levees just like in NOL. That is why this is happening.
