I’m tired of sending aid to primarily Muslim countries that will just go back to hating our guts after getting our aid. Let Saudi Arabia, etc. provide the relief.”

This area has one earthquake after another. It’s just a fact of life (or death) for that part of the world. I feel sorry for them, but there is absolutely nothing one can do to change Mother Nature and what she puts forth.

What...actually adjust one's life to meet Mother Nature instead of trying to impose our will on her? Why, you LEFTIE! ;-)

This time let the other parts of the world closer to them foot the bill for relief rather than us. I’m tired of sending aid to primarily Muslim countries that will just go back to hating our guts after getting our aid. Let Saudi Arabia, etc. provide the relief.

Right on target. And why should we borrow the money from China, right in that neighborhood, without China offering us debt relief?

I care.

There are humans there. Don’t talk to me about crazy ragheads. They most of all need salvation.

There are Christian workers there.

Humans.

I care.

I agree with you. No government aid.

As a private citizen, I will see what I can do.

Be it sinful of me, but that was the first thought that crossed my mind. Sending aid to an ungrateful lot.

I can still see the picture of the boy wearing the Bin Laden t-shirt. Reading/hearing the whining about how much our government ‘failed’ to give monetarily. Upset countries because we sent Marines to help with major clean-up...nothing about us being the only nation ABLE to clean it up!

All I will to today for them is pray.

Maybe these Muslims should pray to a loving God and his Son that may hear their prayers. I hope we don’t send another red cent to this area until the Muslim nations match what we spend and have spent on these ungrateful miscreants.

"December 26, 2004 With a magnitude of between 9.1 and 9.3, it is the second largest earthquake ever recorded on a seismograph.

This earthquake had the longest duration of faulting ever observed, between 8.3 and 10 minutes. It caused the entire planet to vibrate as much as 1 cm (0.5 inches)[1] and triggered other earthquakes as far away as Alaska.[2]."

This non-event has nothing to do with the full moon. No statistical correlation. Nope. None. Neither did the last one.

I’m with you. I care too. The images of people in tsunamis and earthquakes are horrific.

My neighbors are missionaries and they just went back to Indonesia, about a week ago. They should be in the high area by now, but I pray for their son, who accompanied them just to get them there safely, and should be on his way back.
