The poor thing has always been skin and bones - especially so now. Not much to cushion the fall.
Hang in there, Gipperette!

My Mom fell several years ago and broke her wrist trying to prevent a hip break. Her Mom had broken her hip years ago and that’s a common but very difficult wound to recover from at that age. Hell, ANY age!
To: Sub-Driver
All the best, Mrs Reagan.
87? My goodness.
To: Sub-Driver
Sending thoughts and prayers on her behalf. She was an amazing and loyal wife to President Reagan and I hope she gets well soon.

Is this just happening with me, or have you noticed this in your personal life?
Just about all of my liberal friends, who used to talk bad about all Republicans, have done a 180 degree turn on Ronald Reagan and they now consider him a hero and some speak in glowing terms about him.
Most of the people I'm talking about here are still liberals, but they honor the "Gipper" and realize what he did.
As to why they are still liberals....go figure.

That is very interesting. The only lib friend i have said that she and her father can tell the economy is falling, cause star bucks seem more empty to her. She said that in the car last week.
To: robomatik
That is a beautiful picture of the two of them. I remember her in a movie called “The Next Voice You Hear.” James Whitmore was her co-star. In the movie, she & James Whitmore were married, and their names were Mary and Joseph, and she was expecting a child. A voice kept coming on the radio throughout the world, and it was the voice of God. You never hear the actual voice in the movie, but it was an interesting movie. I never see it on TV anymore.

Poor lady. Nancy was standing up when she read about John McCain’s policies on immigration, taxes, and global warming. The next time she falls Obama will be President, and she’ll have to wait in line for three days like the rest of us.

You’re kidding! I didn’t know that. I have invoked his name many times when his son is on camera, acting as spokesperson for something the LA County Sheriff’s Dept is doing (Paris Hilton, Mel, etc., lol.)
Didn’t know who he was the first time, but thought he looked exactly like James Whitmore - then found out that was his last name and looked it up - it’s his son, Steve.

They are still liberals because for one thing, it’s considered anti-intellectual to be a conservative in many liberal crowds. Some are under forty and have not lived to vote for a liberal such as Carter and watched in horror as he and his administration took the country into a liberal malaise of grand proportions while blaming US who had voted for him. Under forty, if liberals, they have such naive hearts and have not yet told themselves the truth about their beloved Clintons; over forty, if still liberals, you may rest assured they have no brains.

Starbucks is in fread-out mode but that happened before the media hoopla about the economy failing. Dunkin Donuts and McDonald’s got serious about good (cheaper) coffee and the rest is history.
