I think the more important issue is WHY are the Marines trying to recruit Berkley-ites in the first place? It is a perfect location to find people who have reached the "I'LL DO ANYTHING IF YOU PROMISE TO GET ME AWAY FROM THESE LUNATICS" stage of their lives.

There were UC Berkeley students from the ROTC who spoke in favor of the recruiting station at the now infamous city council meeting. The Berkeley recruiting stations is for officer candidates.
Code Pink's propaganda line is that the center recruits "our children" -- which is, of course, a lie.
