Al Qaeda's latest display of terror has made its way onto the Internet, showing horrifying images of what appear to be prisoners in Iraq being doused with an inflammatory liquid and then burned alive.
-snip-
As he speaks, two of the insurgents pour liquid on the blindfolded prisoners. Then they push the bound men into the pit, where they are engulfed in flames.

Those who carry “I support the insurgency” protest signs at American rallies have blood on their hands.
They support war criminals.
Murtha is a traitor.
If not for the liberal feminization of America, they would face the firing squad for such treason.
“Those who carry I support the insurgency protest signs at American rallies have blood on their hands.
They support war criminals.”
I feel the same, but I extend it to those who tried to defund the troops as well.
I bet we can make them see that the people we’re fighting are worse than beasts, and that the worst we can do them is far less than what they deserve.
It’s that easy. -Wb
I’m sure that Human Rights Watch and the United Nations will get right one it. < \sarc>

I’m grateful to McCain for having served and he certainly ain’t no Fat Jack Murtha when it comes to supporting the troops.
But getting shot down and taken prisoner ain’t heroic. It might be tragic, or it might be incompetent, but it ain’t heroic.
I like it. We need 535 of ‘em for Congress and few thousand more the State Department.
I never used to be bloodthirsty and even used to feel stirrings of compassion for somebody getting what they deserved with the death penalty, but now, whenever I hear bombing and shooting where I know it's al Qaeda scum getting what they have coming, I cheer elatedly.
That's probably terrible, but I've seen too much of what they have done.
Al Qaeda is comprised of subhumans.
McCain ain’t heroic??? Flying A-10’s into AA fire isn’t heroic? You have to volunteer for that duty! How about turning down early release from Vnam hell-hole so the N. Vietnamese don’t get a propaganda advantage against his country? Doesn’t that count?

Will be interesting to see the day that German archives of old Quranic writings expose Islam for what it is - a very bad invention of a plagirising Arab.
It will never withstand anywhere near the same criticism that the Bible has undergone, regardless of what you think of Christianity in general.
But it is the USA that is the focus of evil in the world today. The rest of the world hates us because of Bush. That is really what the elites believe. Having guys put panties on their head at Abu Ghraib was far worse than guys getting burned alive.
The mindset of the blame America first crowd makes me sick. In some ways they are worse now than they were during the Cold War.
Maybe its long overdue that you drink your Kool-Aid.
These animals need to be exterminated. Now.
If not, scenes like this will be coming to an America near you.
and the ACLU will support this freedom of expression should they ever be tried for this
I have a theory on McCain and his view on torture.
A couple years ago, I went through a VERY serious health challenge and it was HELL. Since that time I have often said, “That I could hate someone with the most seething hatred and I would NEVER wish upon them what I went through”.
Just my opinion, FWIW.
Then perhaps McCain shouild recuse himself from ther current debate..
Yeah, because he's never seen torture before, right? He needs YOUR perspective & insight. Give me a break.
“Exterminate the brutes!”
A-10s were not in service at that time, and don’t operate off a carrier in any case. McQueeg flew A-4 Skyhawks.
No. Flying into the flak is not heroic; it is duty. It is doing the job required of you by the oath you swore when you joined the Armed Forces.
Heroic is Colin Kelly staying the pilot’s seat of his burning B-17 and holding it steady so that his crew could bail out.
We need to keep these things in pespective.
Likewise, refusing the “early release” is likewise required, per the Code of Conduct that all members of the Armed Forces are expected to server under: “I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy.”
It isn’t heroism, it is duty.
One of the saddest things I’ve observed as I grow older that our nation now seems to mistake duty for heroism.
Nope. He need Daniel Pearl’s perspective.
A-10’s????
I just watched the full video. Sick. And the ‘Rats and McCain are complaining about waterboarding and Gitmo????
My view on torture is “What if could save the life of a member my of family?”
There is nothing so terrible that I wouldn’t inflict on an enemy to save a member of my family. NOTHING.
By extension, if it will save a single American life, there is nothing too terrible to inflict on these animals.
I couldn’t watch the entire video. Too horrific.
Al Qaeda or liberals that encourage it?
Don’t forget the 4 planes he lost without help from Hanoi Jane and her commie friends. Anyone not related to two admirals would have been peeling potatoes in the mess hall and not in the front seat of an expensive US Navy Jet.
Yes?
Yes, but here's what gets me: It's a RECRUITING VIDEO. The people who are attracted by Al-Qaeda love this and want to join so they will have the opportunity to act out their violent fantasies without restraint.
Un-freaking-believable.
I think that President Bush ought to preempt all shows on a certain night and show this video to the American people. We are at a very serious time in history and no one seems to “get it” including our leaders.
I agree with you. But it comes down to semantics. I had this discussion with several active duty military guys who insisted that McCain's refusal to accept early release was simply his duty. It does not rise to the level of heroism. Either way, I honor and respect him for his service. But not, by the way, for anything else.
Lemmee see... Does anyone else think that al-Qaeda is the repository of a bunch of sexual deviants - getting off on maimings, and setting people on fire in the name of thier questionable god?
I have been saying this for quite some time. His gigantic ego will not allow this, however.
Michael Moore’s freedom fighters..

You must not have received the memo that we've swapped the meanings of the words "hero" and "victim" here in the good ol' USA.
At the end there is a group of about eight young boys no older than 13 or 14, probably as young as 10 (I think).
One of the boys takes a knife and beheads their victim. The rest hold him down.
That type of evil only has one type of response.
Total annihilation.
What do you expect the term is thrown around like a frisbe. Catch a game winning pass, you’re a hero. Gets some rice blown up your arse , you’re a hero. Throw some one else’s medals over a fence, you’re a hero.
I don’t doubt John McCain’s duty. I don’t think he is a hero but I do believe he suffered greatly for his country and he should be commended for it. Neither of those attributes qualifies him to be President and does not excuse him from political disagreement. In my heart of hearts I believe he sold the conservatives out because of Election 2000. I may wind up voting for him but I will never trust him when it comes to protecting conservative principles.
I watched the 15 minute version which FoxNews provided a link to. The video was hosted by Google. I went to get the link to send it to someone and lo and behold it has been removed by Google.
