Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York will pick up an endorsement Tuesday from a national hero and Ohio icon — John Glenn.

The former Ohio senator will endorse Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination during a press conference Tuesday afternoon at the Westin Hotel Downtown. Glenn will be joined by Gov. Ted Strickland, who already has endorsed Clinton.

Glenn will join Strickland, Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher, and U.S. Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones of Cleveland as the most prominent supporters of Clinton.

Last time he helped the Clintons out he got a shuttle flight. Wonder what this time.

Bolton and Ted Olsen endorse McCain, but see the alternative.

You would think John Glenn would endorse his Keating Five Co-conspirator, John McCain.

When I was a child, back in the sixties, my dad told me that I followed John Glenn’s example, and hung out with the right people, I might be lucky enough to turn out to be like John Glenn when I grew up.

By the time I had children of my own, in the nineties I was telling them that if they I followed John Glenn’s example, and hung out with the wrong people, they might be unlucky enough to turn out to be like John Glenn when they grew up.

It is all a matter of the crowd you choose to hang with.

.

NEVER FORGET

.

During the U.S. Senate’s CHINAGATE Investigations looking into the CLINTONS’ own world misbehaviors...

...then Sen. JOHN GLENN ran interference for them, effectively derailing any real public conclusions against them.

Shortly afterward, Sen. JOHN GLENN annouced his retirement from running for re-election to Congress.

Followed soon afterwards by NASA’s Public Annoucement that he would be returning to Space hitching a ride on the Space Shuttle. Announced by a CLINTON-Appointed NASA Administrator.

NUTS.

NEVER FORGET

Good reminder. Glenn had his time as an American hero, and deserves that. Then he went into politics, and sold his flying ass to the dims and Clinton. From Hero to Dunce, a long fall. God Speed, John Glenn.

Well at least he did not jump on the popular bandwagon and endorse Obama. I think most of us will agree that Hillary will be easier to beat in November so I like these endorsements for her.

As far as Glenn - going back a number of generations we are connected to the same family tree so I’m not going to say anything personal. His crime is being part of the one branch of the family tree that was north of the Mason Dixon line. The rest of us look at them and him the same way you look at the crazy aunt in the attic.
