**EXCERPT**
Hillary Rodham Clinton had hoped her strong showing on Super Tuesday would halt Barack Obama's momentum - but that notion was shattered yesterday as Obama scored blowouts in Washington state, Louisiana and Nebraska.
The Clinton camp had tried to downplay the widely anticipated losses as old news - and her campaign had ceded Louisiana and Nebraska to save their resources for the bigger March 4 contests in Texas and Ohio.
But the big wins for Obama could fuel the perception that he's on a roll, and victories could be scarce for Clinton over the next few weeks if she doesn't prevail in today's closely contested Maine caucuses.

The perception? Huh? He's killing her. It's not a perception.
And apparently Maine isn’t going too well for her.
Poor Hillary. I almost shed a tear for her. Almost.
I perceive he’s on a roll.

There's nothing to see here folks, Hillary will win every primary in every state every time. Would Baghdad Bob lie?
Hillary sacked her campaign manager today. It must be someone else’s fault that most voters would rather have a root canal than listen to her pedantic, boring speeches and watch her fake, over-the-top expressions as she vainly attempts to overcome her robotic nature. Yeppers...that new campaign director will be the answer.
I think they should just put some ice on it.
It just goes to show that people prefer stupid over evil. Maybe the GOP has a chance this fall after all.
Obama is sucking Hillary’s oxygen faster than Monica hoovering her hubby, errr I mean delivering his pizza.
[cue John Cleese]
“It’s just a flesh wound!”
That is a huge lie. Hillary Clinton was expected to wipe out Obama on Super Tuesday but she failed miserably to do so. Obama won 13 states, she won 8, and he won more "pledged" delegates that day.
LOL!
I’ve noticed that as well when reading headlines. It’s like they know Hillary will be the victor no matter how many states Obama wins.
If Hillary doesn’t pull this out with super delegates, she’s not gonna be a very gracious loser.
It is Bush’s fault.
Just who is/was the architect of the “Super Delegate” charade? That’s real big cronie bull$hit pill to have to swallow if I were a registered democrat voter.
That there's some mighty powerful spin. Obama is kicking her Butt and I'm enjoying it immensely. Hope it continues. One of the few real joys of this election cycle for me.
If Hillary doesnt pull this out with super delegates, shes not gonna be a very gracious loser.

I wouldn’t bet on this horse race for anything.
superdelegates will seal the deal for hillary,, obama will be asked to suck it up, his followers will stay home, Huckabee is the next President in an upset.
(scary script huh?)
obama is an even worse alternative.. what has politics come the when we are down to these as the “viable” candidates?
Super Delegates sounds like a Dean Wormer concept.
That sure is a whopper of a lie, guys.
[Hillary Rodham Clinton had hoped her strong showing on Super Tuesday would halt Barack Obama's momentum.]
And "strong showing" is code for coming in second or third or fourth....
The Grifters are kidding no one.
Wait’ll Wednesday when they have to downplay losses in Virginia, Maryland, and D.C.
If Hillary doesnt pull this out with super delegates, shes not gonna be a very gracious loser.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
You obviously have a Doctorate in understatement from Oxford. She will be as mean as a wolverine on steroids with a bad case of rabies.
stake in the heart time folks
Gracious or not, she'll still be a loser.
Maybe it is time for Hillary to really have a break-down now, she needs to get more hysterical.
Huck would have to win all remaining primaries by a 85-15% to overtake McCain in delegates.
good post, I really enjoyed it!
“It must be someone elses fault that most voters would rather have a root canal than listen to her pedantic, boring speeches and watch her fake, over-the-top expressions as she vainly attempts to overcome her robotic nature.”
Ooops! She lost BIG in ME.
Think she'll be any more spiteful to her party as McInsane was/is to the GOP after South Carolina in 2000?
Old news? It was yesterday.
According to one of them Hillary and Bill have a secret contract. If she loses her bid for the presidency, they are going to get divorced.
That sure explains why Bill is messing up on the campaign trail so much lately.
**The perception? Huh? He’s killing her. It’s not a perception.**
True.
“Let’s Move On,” - right Billary? Not going to work this time.
It's only a "perception" if you ignore the facts.
True. That would upset me.
Yep. He’s on a roll.
Poppyseed Obama.
He’s definitely on a roll.
What I would like to see is Obama winning the popular votes and delegates in the primaries, and then the super delegates handing her the nomination. Wow, that would really cause turmoil in the ranks.
Hildy put Maggie Williams in as her campaign manager!
Remember Maggie?
If HIldy does manage to win this, she’ll have no choice but to select Obama as her VP and he will accept.
Sixteen years of Radical Rat rule, right there.
“Clinton camp tries to downplay Obama caucus sweep”
Oh yeah...by firing her campaign manager. Way to downplay it.
IT’S A QUAGMIRE! Cut and run!
It's heading for the "smokey back rooms" to be sure.
Note: Obama lost in Mass which is the Kennedy and Kerry backed state.
If you compare "Barry" Obama to Hillary, which you had better start doing..or you will wind up with someone you never expected to take seriously and suddenly see smiling back at ya over HDTV the day after the primary.
The Republicans cannot throw a caucus with any momentum so the voters are not jazzed up to think about a vote, the Democrats go all out for votes...they get people energized! The young showed up, the absent voters, supporters, fence sitters, gawkers like me..
I do see bad days ahead, if this is all the Republicans have to show us..have they become too old, redundant and too easily forgotten in their approach on winning any election? ..That's what may be the winning factor come November.
If you had a voting booth available on the day that Obama and Clinton came to towne, the Republicans would have lost in a landslide. When the Republicans came to towne..oh, wait, they didn't,(except Mainer, Susan Collins; Ron Paul blew through a few days before) they sent friends, family and local speakers who mumbled through their index card delivery.
I attended both, so call it like I saw it.
