Huckabee Wins KANSAS!!
Run Mike Run http://www.hucksarmy.com/videos/HuckCPAC2008.html
This is not surprising, as Kansas has a major evangelican presence in its Republican base.
Well, I guess when they reported that Huck drew a thousand and McCain only drew a couple of hundred, they were on to something.
We of all people cant give McCain Amnesty.
Dominating with 60% of the vote.
Well there is one primary that has gone the right direction. I would like to see many, many more.....
Toto don’t hunt with you’re tin man ear, I ain’t Lion
But what good will this do? I appreciate that it’s an anti-McCain vote.
Anybody but McCain...go vote for anyone.
BROKERED CONVENTION OR BUST!
Unlike McCain, Mike Huckabee actually IS pro-life. That’s something to consider.
Just keeps the delegate pile against McCain piling up. Now would be a great time for Romney to throw his delegates to Huckabee. Just so we can get it to the convention floor and shed a lil blood.
Down with McCain.
Welcome aboard!
When it was a three-man-or-more race, and McCain would win, but with under 50% (or even under 40%), and now that it’s a two-man race, and McCain is the presumptive nominee, and he STILL loses or gets under 60% (or even under 70%)—every time this happens, it puts pressure on McCain to realize that he NEEDS conservative support in order to win, and then in order to govern. This is a good thing.
lol!!
>>>But what good will this do? I appreciate that its an anti-McCain vote.
It’s kind of like flatulence in a hurricane, isn’t it?
I really think this is all about keeping the attention of social conservatives as long as possible - keeping them busy with Huckabee instead of griping about McCain. This is all about building up the drama to the point that Huckabee endorses McCain.
They're saying it was a surprise?
I fail to see how the tax raising snake oil salesman is much of an improvement.
BROKERED CONVENTION OR BUST! The math isn’t there for one.
Because McCain will win Virginia, Maryland, and probably DC on Tuesday.
Romney supporters broke for Huckabee!
McCain is not pro life? I need some proof of that if you’re going to post it.
Isn’t the race over? McCain won the moment Romney dropped out. Ever news story I have seen says so.
Ann Coulter’s McCain SMACKDOWN...

John McCain would rather go with Air Bus than Boeing for the new refueling tankers. That’s a part of why he isn’t well liked here in the Wichita area of Kansas.
Good news...McCain is not a shoo-in no matter what the MSM or he says.
If Huckabee can build any kind of momentum over the weekend....it will be great. Look, I could care less about Huckabee...this is now about sending a message. Whether Huckabee or Romney wins 4-6 more states..it will be 4-6 more states that John McCain did not win.
He has no mandate going into the convention.
But like McCain, Huckabee’s also a liar and therefore can’t be trusted either.
I pray that trend continues.
Maybe ol' Huck knew something we don't know when he was talking about miracles? ;-)
No surprise here. Huck will win LA while McCain will take WA state.
McCain brags ‘ad nauseum’ about how he tubed that Boeing tanker deal.
Who will take Texas?
He has voted pro life, but is not proud enough to stand up and proclaim it absolutely like Huckabee is.
“Abortion OK if raped; and no testing for rape
McCain was asked whether he would reinstate the Reagan era rule that prevents international family planning clinics that receive federal funds from discussing abortion. I dont believe they should advocate abortion with my tax dollars, McCain said, adding that he opposed abortion except in cases of rape and incest. He was then asked how he would determine whether someone had in fact been raped. McCain responded, I think that I would give the benefit of the doubt to the person who alleges that. “

Oops, Guess Mike will be getting more phone calls from the party elites, telling him to drop out.
In Va McCain has a 57-25 lead over Huckabee with 63 WTA delegates.
And it makes cements Huckabee as a possible emerging player in the GOP
Saturday, February 09, 2008Huckabee Wins Kansas Caucuses! Posted by: Matt Lewis at 3:14 PM Despite Sen. Sam Brownback's endorsement of John McCain, FOX is calling the caucus for Huckabee.
The Kansas GOP is famously split between liberals and conservatives. But it looks like Huckabee got something like 61 percent of the folks who caucused. He will take home at least 24 of the 36 delegates.
McCain was favored, so this suggests that -- not only was Huckabee taking votes from Romney -- Romney was also taking votes from Huckabee ...
He's still got a long, long way to go. But this is interesting ... And it makes cements Huckabee as a possible emerging player in the GOP.
Nice sentence, huh?
McCain will probably win Washington state tonight.
Politicians with principles went out with the eighteenth century. I'd like to see someone make the case for Huckabee over McCain. To me, Huckabee is just more obviously phony. And Huckabee thinks the Bush administration is arrogant (or, he says he thinks it).
On the other hand, McCain would lose by a narrower margin in November.
Interesting...Bob Dole comes out for McCain, McCain gets 24% in KANSAS! Huckabee gets 61%.
I guess caucus conservatives are not going for the same tired old repubs anymore.
In the words of the venerable Dr. McCoy, “He’s dead Jim...”
Hi Miss Allegra...hoping you’re well! :)
I recall that in 1976, “Mooonbeam” Brown of liberal CA started winning a half dozen or so western states after GA Jimmuh had already cemented his liberal nomination. Liberals seem to always win even if they lose an election.
Yes, in the primaries but no way in God's creation is he going to take it in the general.
McCain will take Texas.
Don’t know, but I will vote for Huck, mainly to keep McCain from thinking he has any kind of mandate for his agenda.
It will be great? Why? Huck is like McCain.
The better Huck does, the more likely Huck will be the VP pick, instead of a real conservative.
I don't think that's a good idea.
“I really think this is all about keeping the attention of social conservatives as long as possible - keeping them busy with Huckabee instead of griping about McCain. This is all about building up the drama to the point that Huckabee endorses McCain.”
Yes, it makes it look as if there actually has been a primary.
