Propagation of law enforcement is fed by these tickets, it is a tragic but predictable outcome and it may get worse.Ridiculous. This guy was doing contracting work without a license and was getting citations for that as well as parking his work vehicles illegally. The predictable outcome of breaking the law is being cited and fined. He was an idiot.

We may see such incidents, but, my opinion is anyone who thinks this way and reacts this way is a loon.

Im surprised there were that many cops there in a city or whatever that was that small. We have one of the best police departments in this country. They are marvelous, professional and very effective. This is heartbreaking.

He apparently had a number of property upkeep violations. Just letting things fall into disrepair. Geez...they could issue those violations to most of Meacham Park as I recall. (Been a lot of years since I lived near there.)

oh wow...and in LA there were police killings today, too, I read earlier....
Prayers up for the families of those killed...

No its not, people are fed up with relentless pressure to pay fines for no other reason than to produce revenue.Ok. We get it. You had to pay a ticket you didn't like. Now go onto a relevant thread and whine.
To: eastforker
That’s called victim mentality, and it’s deplorable.

I cannot condone the murders of policemen who were not committing the rare types of occurrence you just described.

They are saying that one of the officers was shot behind Imo’s and they are assuming it was related to the City Hall shooting.

Oh no. It is all true. He killed 5 people, including two of our officers. Then he was shot and killed.
