It wasn’t just parking tickets

The parking tickets pushed him over the edge.

BTW, if you want to hound me into hell, I would be happy to give you my current coordinates via FReepmail and update you periodically (I'm a full-time RV-er).

Bring it on.

Why do you believe he should have been given a pass? Because he was black? Because he was taking on institutions you despise? The Kirkwood Council erased his fines and costs and he still went on a murderous rampage. The only thing that placed him over the edge was his own sociopathic personality. Attempting to make excuses for him only highlights your own blighted soul. I’m glad your an RVer. The police you abhor and fear will find it much harder to harass you if you present a moving target. My continued hounding of you will be on Free Republic via reponses to your asinine posts. Br the way, I live in St. Louis, not far from Kirkwood. Should your RV find itself here, mail me. There are a few cop bars I’d love to take you to.

He should have been given a "pass" because the town no doubt grew up around his contractors yard.

I would wager that in the past, the town was begging him to work.

Somewhere along the line, some busybodies, helped by some politician(s), decided that whatever he was doing with his business and his property was not the "highest and best use" and sought to run him out of business.

They succeeded, and he took a few of his adversaries with him.

And "somewhere" over the rainbow there is a yellow brick road ....

You have no clue what you are talking about.....

Before dropping your IQ any further on FR why not go to the STL TODAY [Post Dispatch] website and read the truth about this nutcase.

If he was going to shoot anybody, it should have been his own lawyers and those in his own circle of malcontents who encouraged him to spend his parents retirement money on all of these losing legal ventures -- like suing the Missouri Supreme Court -- and thinking that he is going to win a big lottery payoff.

Did that a long time ago.

Doesn't change my position or my assessment.

We're going to see a lot more middle-aged men twist off in the future. I guess we don't like our various governments treating us like children and stealing from us.

And watch how veterans of military service react down the road, combat vets in particular.

One fairly senior [deputy chief] cop of my acquaintance tells me he really, REALLY wants to be out of the law enforcement biz by the time most of the combat vets of Iraq and Afghanistan come back. They know way too much about mines and IEDs for his liking.

Oh, his own military service? Why, none; he had a deferment during the draft years because of his *critical civilian occupation.* And he wasn't about to enlist!
