TMLC: Teaching Erotic Sex and that Homosexuality is Inborn to 8th and 10th Graders is OK
Thomas More Law Center ^ | February 05, 2008 | (no annotation)

ANN ARBOR, MI – Maryland Circuit Court Judge William J. Rowan, III, ruled last week that it is permissible to teach 8th and 10th grade Montgomery County public school students how to use condoms during anal and oral sex, as well as that homosexuality is inborn, even though in 2007 Maryland’s highest appellate court ruled there is no scientific basis for such a conclusion.

The controversial new curriculum was adopted as a result of pressure by homosexual advocacy groups.

That sexual orientation is innate, namely, homosexuals are ‘born that way,’ is a theory that has been rejected by courts in several states including Maryland. Maryland’s highest appellate court issued an opinion in a 2007 civil union case, holding that the proposition that homosexuality is innate is not supported by credible evidence. In fact, not one U.S. court presented with the issue has found homosexuality to be an innate characteristic.

The Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, which represents Citizens for a Responsible Curriculum, the Family Leader Network, and the Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays had asked the Judge Rowan to overturn a Maryland Board of Education ruling that approves of public schools in Montgomery County, Maryland to teaching 8th and 10th graders that homosexuals are born that way, and how to use condoms during a

I think you can predict how decisions are made based on political correctness. The politically correct view is that gay is good. Gays are wonderful, etc. etc. So of course we have to teach kids about homosexual sexual practices.

I think it’s funny that the politically correct view of marriage is that it’s an archaic patriarchial oppressive type of relationship. BUT, that’s only for women in traditional marriage. As far as “gay marriage”, then the politically correct view is that marriage is good, marriage is a wonderful statement of their love and devotion, and equal rights and all that.

That or the people take back control over public education. It’s special interest and judicial activism that’s determining what the children are exposed to.

A third option is private, religion-based schooling. We send our daughter to Catholic school, even though we are not Catholic.

School boards, not judges, should decide what is taught in school. Change the board, don’t file a petition with a court.

There should be plenty of ammunition in public statements made by the board over this court case to defeat them all at the ballot box.

The people behind this and other such issues are the Eugenicists, otherwise known as Zero Population Growth, or Family Planning and other fronts. They are also pushing porn as a mainstream kind of thing. They would like to reduce the population of the earth to 200 million.

This is an example of judicial activism. why is a judge getting involved in this in the first place? You’re right, the school board should make decisions, not subject to a lawsuit.

It may be the only exposure she’ll get to Christianity when it involves her childhood education. Christianity is being wiped from the halls of the public school system.

The Sex Positive Agenda wants them all sexuall active regardless of the nature of that “activity”.

It has gone beyond health and reproduction to teaching positions and foreplay.

Makes “sense” when a growing number of the population are engaging with partners in a manner that will never be fruitful.

It’s like teaching math to a forklift operator “when am I ever gonna use that, teach??!!”

Why are they “teaching” sex at all in the public schools? This has now turned into indoctrination, rather than education. Couldn’t somebody sue the schools, or sue the entire public school system? This subject has no business being on the curriculum at public schools. The gay agenda has taken over, and our children are being exposed to this vile stuff. And you still keep sending your kids to public schools. Why?

I wish it were possible to identify a homosexual gene.

Parents would start having abortions of "gay" fetuses and it would cause "right to choose" liberals' heads to explode.

Hmm. I didn’t know there was a specific way to use them for each of the above as compared to regular use.

My,my, it just goes to show you how outdated on sexual techniques we become as we get older.

Most of the the group is based in the USA, and the USA is also an excellent laboratory for their social experiments, although they have many operations abroad, especially through economic development programs.

As a laboratory and the major source of funding the USA is vital for them. If the USA economy collapses as some other threads seem to worry about, these programs would be severely impacted.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

So?.....Who do you think has the most money, time, and organization to pack the school boards: The NEA and homosexuals.

Government schools need two things: Students and money. If parents remove the student, the money goes too. If enough parents remove their child, then they can organize a massive school tax revolt. This would **permanently** shut down the government madrasses.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

The government school defenders on this board insist that their child’s school is different, of course. Their child was valedictorian and was offered a half-million in scholarships. Their school has a “pray around the flagpole”. Their school has a Christian club and **even** has a Christmas carole or two during “Winter” break festivities. ...Yada Yada! ( barf!)

**Liberal** parents would abort their gay children.

Correct.

The litmus test for any democRat running for office - the democRat mantra - is that abortion must always be permitted as a matter of right "for any reason or no reason." So what happens if a gay gene is found? Liberals will start aborting fetuses because they are tested and found to have the gay gene.

That is when liberals heads will start to explode.

My guess is that they would first try to prevent in vitro testing for the gene ("you can still have abortions, you just can't test for the gay gene"). If that fails, they will be forced to amend the liberal mantra: "Abortion for any reason or no reason, except you can't have an abortion to prevent democRat constituency groups from being born."

Stories like this make me go down on my knees and praise the L-rd that I have the opportunity to homeschool my daughters... I have nothing against sex ed (someone has to warn them about STDs and such), but it seems to be becoming much more detailed and graphic than how we were taught just 20 years or so ago... I don’t think that’s a good thing, nor is it really necessary, IMHO...

I respect the opinion of those that wish the schools have no involvement in the sex-ed of their children. But like you mentioned, I’m not against what I’d consider basic sex-ed. It was presented to us decades ago and it for most in the class, it was a big yawn. I think the instructor was an over-weight, gray haired lady — it was actually a neutering experience.

But, we’re not talking about normal things here, we’re talking about the promotion of homosexuality and the activities associated with it. It’s good to know that home schooling is working for your family as it does for many others.
