Too bad there is no real way to know in advance who would be worse for the country in the long run.
I’m of the opinion the this festering wound of a government needs to come to a head before it can be effectively drained.
No contest there. I know how bad Billary would be for us, Obama is just as bad, and at the very least, I know McCain is pro-life, and as goofy as some of the things that he has done are, he still has a pretty high conservative voting record, and will have to step carefully around the base to get elected. Is it perfect? Far from it, but, anyone that the Socialists would nominate is far, far worse.
As for draining the swamp, it could be done, but it would take someone/some party that could motivate popular will, and considering the current crowd, I don’t see anyone like that on the horizon. Even Reagan, for all his revered status, was never able to actually shrink government.
Yeah, ask David Koresh how well that worked out for him!
The only way to reduce the size of government is to re-educate the citizens on the meaning of tryanny, although if we give the government to the socialists, they will start doing it for us, the hard way, with failing a failing economy, a non-productive workforce and higher and higher taxation.
That’s a stupid way to educate people.
