She clearly stated:
I'm not one of those folks who will say that I won't vote for him.
She earlier said that she just didn't think this was the time to turn to party over to the Dole/Ford wing of the Republican Party.
She called McCain an amazing man, and that she deeply respected him.

I won’t vote for McCain.
All the GOP candidates are equally bad, but yet are still better than the alternative.
ALL of the final 3 have a liberal record. Honest people admit that.
No more "drink the RINO arsenic---it'll kill you more slowly than the 'Rat cyanide."
Sorry, I will not vote for an open borders traitor, who will usher in the end of my country.
That will have to happen without my vote.
Shall we all prepare for endless posts of trashing Laura Ingraham now that she has expressed her views.
McCain can not be trusted at all. I can’t vote for him.
What a pathetic mess we have.
Like all the media elite, she has access to polling, exit polling, etc. that we don’t.
I think she’s signalling that she’s seen something.
I think the key difference is that while there is no one I would love to vote for on the Republican side there is no one I’d let walk my dog on the Democrat side let alone protect the country against all enemies foreign and domestic.
Laura in no way touted up McCain. The question was put to her by a snarky Grinchen in order to try to make Laura feel bad for not supporting McCain.
I guess polls are more important than votes anymore.
In that case, I will let the polls determine the winner and stay home.
She’s surrendering. If the party establishment forced McCain on us, and we go along with them, they will continue to move the party to the left, and all traces of conservatism in the power structure will evaporate.
Well, so much for her opposition to the McAmnesty bill.
Maybe her opposition to it wasn’t so much on principle but was more about higher ratings with conservative listeners.
Right! There is no GOOD choice now. But there is NO WAY I will cast a vote for McCain.
I will not vote for any of them.
I don’t think that’s necessarily true regarding McCain. Yes, in the past he has taken conservative stances - but recently he has started veering sharply to the left. He is unpredictable, a loose cannon - & I think, certifiably insane.
I’m sorry to hear Laura pick party over values. I won’t be doing that again. I’m out of the GOP & going Independent. I will never vote for McCain under any circumstances, not saying I’ll vote for Hillary or Obama - but I DEFINITELY won’t vote for John McQueeg.
You must not listen to Laura’s show. She was signaling nothing.
Romney is a liberal.
McCain is a liberal.
Huckabee is a liberal.
There is no conservative left running for the Republicans other than Paul, but he has his idiotic isolationist plank to steer me away from him.
If Romney can somehow win California, Georgia, Utah, Colorado, Alaska, Montana, West Virginia, and Massachussettes today, I will consider that a victory. Althought he will still be well behind in the delegate count.
The hell with the RNC establishmentarian mouthpieces.
McCain is a liberal who will run the country into the ground, but, because he has a scarlet “R” next to his name, conservatives will get the blame.
If we are going to be run by liberals then let it be an open Marxist like Hillary or Obama so that leftist policies get credited with destroying the country.
Why vote for McCain when we can run Petraeus in 2012?
Is there an actual link to the story?
Thanks.
Matthew 16:26
Laura, Where’s that “surrender monkey” audio when you need it?
You are so right!
Laura will now be a criminal and yesterday she was a hero.
I’m astonished at the dishonesty of those who less than a month ago were equally trashing “Rudy McRomnabee.”
All of a sudden, liberal Romney became a conservative like Ronald Reagan. (Makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit.)
Nor will I.
I’ll hold my nose and vote for McCain in the general if he gets the nomination. UNLESS he picks Huckabee as his running mate. That’s a deal killer for me.
What a mess. Does anyone know McCain’s abortion stance / record? I don’t want to vote for any of these liberal jerks, but the abortion thing would be nice to know.
She was just on Fox and Friends being interviewed.
I doubt it’s online. I’d listen to her show today to see if she addresses it again.
But, I’m sure of what I heard.
If she is really going to vote for McCain after what happened last year and her rhetoric up until recently than she deserves to take some heat.
I don't agree with wholesale trashing and throwing her overboard because she has been pretty good on helping the conservative get heard.
. . .
Plus she's still pretty hot. ;^)
Bears repeating.
What a victim statement you just made. No one forced McCain on us save for the voters. We had Hunter and Thomson to support and didn’t.
“if her candidate looses”
She’s in the Romney camp.
Sounds like she’s not willing to hand the WH to the democrats.
Snort. When? From 1999 for instance....
I will write-in a candidate or vote 3rd party.
The BIGGEST reason I won't vote for him is that, if he is elected (which I doubt VERY much), he will, with a vengeance, punish the conservatives in the GOP.
The Republicans in Congress will be helpless, because they cannot oppose a President McCain without opposing the leadership of their own party.
Conservatism in the GOP will be beaten back and shoved in a closet for the duration of a McCain presidency.
With a Democrat POTUS, the conservative wing of the Republican party will be mobilized and energized.
Opposition from the Republicans in Congress can be mounted without going against their party leadership.
And McCain will be defeated, discredited, and powerless to interfere.
I submit that a Democrat president, even the communist crypto-Mahometan Obama, or the Shrieking Shrew sHrillary, would be far more likely to advance conservatism and conservative causes than a McCain presidency.
Yeah, but McCain's prior spitting on the Bill of Rights suggests that he'll commit perjury in public while swearing the Oath of Office. Haven't we had enough perjury from Presidents?
McCain has a far better abortion record than does Romney.
The best abortion record is by Huckabee and Paul who are lifelong pro-life without blemish.
Huck’s a liberal nut on taxes, and especially amnesty.
Paul’s a liberal nut on defense.
"Bob Dole 2.0 for 2008!"
The voters have no clue who is out there outside of what they see on the MSM.
The party hacks don’t control everything, but they have a tremendous amount of power by setting the boundaries of who is a “mainstream candidate,” and thus gets media coverage.
They use unethical tactics, like the cheating that went on in Florida, to give their establishment candidates a leg up.
She never said anything else.
Rush has made a cogent argument against voting for McCain. Basically having McCain as president would tie the hands of Republicans in Congress in fighting liberal bills because it would mean going against a Republican president.
Dennis Prager gave a very good argument why we would be would vote for McCain.
Hugh Hewitt denies the possibility that Romney could lose :)
Dear Ms. Ingraham: Does the phrase Pyrrhic victory mean anything to you?!
All liberals spit on the Constitution.
There is nothing better about any of these candidates. There’s no way to choose the “lesser” of 3 evils.
Besides, as one man says, “When choosing the lesser of 2 evils, you’re still choosing evil.”
That's fine. She doesn't need to justify herself to me.
I just don't see much difference between McCain (I'd be Kerry's running mate) and the democrats.
You learn about people when they face difficult questions. A lot of pundits and politicians will decide that walking away from the GOP plantation, even just for one election cycle, is too frightening a thought to be contemplated.
Sam Adams said it well: If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.
I’m holding my nose for Romney, but there aren’t enough clothespins on Earth to hold it for McCain. If he’s the nominee, I’ll either write in Reagan, Hunter, or Cthulhu.
LOL! It didn’t take very long, did it?
I realize that people can take a very high-minded, self-righteous stance on the internet, where they are anonymous. But I wonder if, as Laura honestly admits, when they get into the sanctity of the voting booth, and they look at the choice of an (R) who SAYS he’s gotten the message on enforcement, or an identity (D) candidate who openly panders open borders for votes, what lever they will secretly pull? (Anyone who assures a return to the Clinton years, IMO, is NOT a conservative.)
Folks, it’s okay to be purists during the primary, but keep your eye on the ball during the general, mmmkay?
All 3 are liberals.
It’s a fact of record. Check the record of any of these yahoos, and you’ll find liberal statements and liberal acts to fill this forum.
Hi, Ksen, how’ve you been!! :>)
What exit polling could she have access to?
The polls are just opening now.
