You stated on the Today show that your daughter, Chelsea, was nearly killed by falling debris on 9/11. Chelsea herself refuted your statements in a magazine article that she wrote only months later. Chelsea said that she was at a friend’s Park Ave. apartment during the attack.

Only days after 9/11, as the nation watched, Katie Couric introduced you by saying that you were not there at Today as a Senator, but as a mother who had nearly lost her only child. On that program, you said that Chelsea and her Secret Service agents were saved only because they ducked into a Starbucks coffee shop. I remember watching this interview, transfixed.

Mrs. Clinton, what is the truth about your daughter’s whereabouts during the 9/11 attacks. Did you make up that story to garner sympathy for yourself? And if so, how could you do that only days after the attack, when there were people in the streets of NYC, holding pictures of loved ones and searching for them? I would appreciate a full answer, Mrs. Clinton.
