What can we do should an amnesty/open-borders candidate win the Presidency? Can we go to the Supreme Court to make the President and Congress obey the law which demands that we protect our national sovereignty? Does anyone know of any other remedy should an amnesty bill be passed?

Unfortunately, there’s not much hope. The Democratic majorities will likely be much more substantial after the next election, and the White House will be occupied by McCain or a Democrat. I’m not sure enough Americans have the stomach or time to continue the anti-amnesty battle. Prepare for a new country that looks radically different than it even does today.
There was a guy who wrote in to the Dallas Morning News yesterday saying, “We can learn English if it’ll make you feel better, but it just means that it will be English-speaking children of Spanish-speaking illegal immigrants who WILL be taking over your country.” Only one letter, obviously, but electing McCain doesn’t exactly help.
Last I heard there are three branches of Government, the President not being a Dictator, can be stopped by either one of those other two branches, just like the current president was.
That’s not counting for democratic congressmen, RINOs, and activist judges.

First thing is we eliminate Secret Service protection and fences around the White House since they think just cameras work.
We are guaranteed to have a President who is soft on illegal aliens. All remaining candidates [R or D] will betray us on this issue.
I am angry beyond words that we are in this position. Getting the illegal invasion under control is of critical importance and it will be all over but the crying in another 8 years.

Now would be preferable otherwise they will have been throughly infiltrated and subdued, without a single shot having been expended. Guts? FYI..for all you pro-McCain people who touted his 100% Pro-Life record and distrusted Romney because of his flip...Despite the words we hear about the hispanics being pro-life, catholic, family oriented ect..The non-cuban hispanics vote overwhelmingly for pro-abortion leftist democrats. In fact, there is only one hispanic Pro-life Democrat in the entire Congress (Silvestre Reyes TX)..the rest are all 100% with Naral.
What can we do? We could stop doing the work Americans have been willing to do. Shut down all commerce in the country, bring the government to its knees. Cut off their source of funding and see how long it takes them to get their thinking straight.
This has always been a dream of mine, nationwide work stoppages to affect real change. Make the political class bastards squirm.

I’m far from an alarmist but I’m going with what you said. It will probably come down to that anyway.
Here’s the option which comes to my mind:
Mass civil disobedience.
Legal American citizens need to gather in the thousands, perhaps in the millions, along the border. Quietly and dignified, like the famous March on Washington. Move up to the border crossings in San Diego and El Paso and Blaine, Washington, walk up to the border posts, and sit down and refuse to move until the government starts implementing the existing immigration laws and stop illegal immigration.
Find out where illegals gather for jobs. Quietly and with dignity, marching in unison, with thousands of people in attendence, go to those places and sit down. Hand out flyers shaming those who hire illegals and refuse to move until the government starts implementing the existing immigration laws and stop illegal immigration.
Stage mass disobedience at workplaces, industries, and farms who willingly hire illegals. Sit down at the entrance to those places and refuse to move until the government starts implementing the existing immigration laws and stop illegal immigration.
Find out which countries encourage illegal immigration. Surround the embassies and offices of those countries and sit down and refuse to move until our government starts implementing the existing immigration laws and stop illegal immigration.
Follow up mass civil disobedience with targeted boycotts.
Find out who hires illegals. Make those industries, workplaces, and farms known and stage boycotts. As always, present the boycott in light of larger issues of illegal immigration.
Remember that nothing works better than ridicule.
Advertise to Americans that they should illegally move to countries who willingly allow illegal immigration to the United States. Pass out brochures advising Americans how to do this. Sell phony land deeds. Tell the media that Americans are merely doing the work that the people in those countries can’t do since they’re illegally migrating to the United States. Use razor-sharp satire to demonstrate the bigotry, stupidity, and sheer nuttiness of open-border advocates.
What would Mexico do if a million Americans decided to silently march across the bridge at Brownsville to protest illegal immigration?
Think conservatively, but act liberally. Sort of like a bumper sticker I read once.
Even if you don’t like the POTUS nominee, please vote this November. Write in/protest vote/leave blank the POTUS vote, but VOTE.
If McCain/Hillary/Obama/Huckabee win (either I would consider an ‘open borders’ President) we need the leverage of good conservative representatives in other offices.

Seriously, there’s been no historical precedence for the scenario we’re being set up for: an escalated invasion of illegals from South of our border studiously ignored by a majority population because that populace has been trained over many years to believe that it’s technical, sociological and ideological achievements are doubtable because they didn’t actively factor in people from primitive and less structured societies who happened to be different shades, lesser ethics and savage values.

America seems determined to backtrack to destruction while its leadership kowtows to ridiculous theories of political correctness - the same trash their children are subjected to in the public schools by people who couldn’t feed themselves on an honest wage in any other field.

I’m not optimistic right now. Certainly Romney would be a better pick than McCain.
Great idea but we are the ones keeping this country chugging along while the rabble has the free time to pull off those disobediences. Because of their presence at least two thirds of the posters here wouldn't dare indulge in such behavior because their employers would welcome the opportunity to replace them with illegal aliens.
Perhaps there's a way to get those already displaced to gather; but I suspect that their circumstances dictate they lack internet access, cell phones and many other niceties most productive Americans have grown to depend upon.
But I'm damn sure they're hacked off enough to enlist, being denied many services they see illegals granted as a matter of course. If one could reach them.
