Exactly. They were interviewing some on TV who were going to vote for a candidate “to be part of making history for the first _______ (for some it’s just about putting in a special-interest person for no other reason than that) President”.
It’s not about leadership, saving the country from economic disaster, protection from terrorists, etc. etc. etc.
It’s about being part of an “experience” and “sharing the moment”.
What else can we expect after our publik skool systems have been run by the NEA producing a crop that find MTV’s “The Real World” as fascinating TV? Abd now are voting for “change” with someone who has no real experience creating any change at a federal level and skips a lot of voting?
It’s about “emotions” and “feelings”.
I guess I’m not sensitive enough.
