Like him or not, McCain does not deserve this. Is there a lawyer in the house? Surely any candidate wishing to appear as a conservative would file suit straightaway for defamation of character...not because of what they wrote but simply being branded by The New York Slimes. Again, Is there a lawyer in the house?

New York Times Endorses McCain, Clinton

What...they couldn't decide which Democrat they liked so they picked both?

“this will surely increase McCain’s chances in the Republican primary.../sarc”

Well, the NY Times’ coming out for McCain is good enough for me - I’m voting for Romney...

They did it now to influence all the transplanted New Yorkers in Florida. What a pathetic waste of paper.

I’m shocked to see that the NYT has abandoned Stalin and Mao.

“I’m shocked to see that the NYT has abandoned Stalin and Mao.”

Priceless! (For everything else there’s Mastercard.)

Whatever little chance McCain had to win Florida was just destroyed by the NYT — so out of touch with the American people that they thought this endorsement would help McCain.

Rudy should turn the NYT endorsement into a commercial for himself.

Jesse Helms said it best years ago when, as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations committee, he was the recipient of NYT acrimony: “I don’t care what the New York Times says. Nobody in North Carolina cares what the New York Times says. And nobody I care about cares what the New York Times says.”

That’s the answer to a GOP audience.

Still, there is a choice to be made, and it is an easy one. Senator John McCain of Arizona is the only Republican who promises to end the George Bush style of governing from and on behalf of a small, angry fringe.

At least they gave a shout out to Freepers!

Thanks for doing the research.

Here is something I remember from a class in logic. Finding a man who is always wrong is as useful as finding a man who is always right.

When it comes to politics, the Karl Marx inspired New York Times can be counted upon to get things exactly wrong.

Great post, good memory about Jesse and perfect suggestion for Rudy. He should say that every chance he gets a microphone - a slap/kick/punch to TNYT. And add - TNYT only likes liberals.

“LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aw man, this can’t get any better!!!!”

This might be the next milestone event for me. Romney is running against Hillary (or Obama). Liberal relative, “Even George Will says Romney should be President,”

Looks like the New York Times is headed for its "Last Round-up."
Not being able to do anything right has made it Google buyout bait.

What is it about the Sulzbergers that makes them so successful at driving down
their own share price? Maybe they sell short after every key editorial decision.
