John McCain says he's ready to run the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, just like Rocky Balboa did, now that he's got the support of actor Sylvester Stallone...
(Excerpt) Read more at news.yahoo.com ...
Why Sly, why?
Who is Alice Cooper endorsing and what for what issues?
Well, everyone has their faults.
Obviously a few to many punches to the head ...
Ugh...he must have been hit in the head too many times in the Rocky movies.
It’s more challenging these days, Senator. Since John Street’s tenure, you’ll have to dodge bullets and be mindful of dirty needles on the steps.
Obvously some cross promotion for the new Rambo.
Sly must have taken too many punches...
Why do actors think people care what they think?
Let chuck and sly duke it out....winner takes the nomination...LOL.
Don't care about that but, since you bring him up, did you know Alice is now a born again evangelical Christian? He also DJ's a national syndicated rock show on radio and it's pretty good. He's an interesting guy.
Well that’s it!!!!! McCain’s got my vote! /sarc

"Yo, you can trust me to know what's best for this country, I am an actor so I know more than you do."
Um, wasn’t Stallone teaching chicks volleyball in Europe whilst Mccain was a POW?
Heres an interesting article. Do you remember Richard Poe?

John McCain Gets Soros Cash
Senator John McCains Reform Institute has suffered some bad press recently due to its involvement in an influence-peddling scandal with Cablevision. As usual, however, mainstream media have failed to go to the root of the matter.
Founded on June 26, 2001, McCains Reform Institute for Campaign and Election Issues has long served as a nerve center for the so-called campaign finance reform movement a movement which has done nothing to clean up campaign finance, but has done a great deal to empower federal judges and government bureaucrats to regulate political speech, in defiance of the Bill of Rights.
Now heres the kicker. The list of donors published on the Reform Institutes Web site reads like a veritable Whos Who of radical, leftwing foundations, including the Tides Foundation, the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the Proteus Fund and George Soros Open Society Institute (hat tip, Winfield Myers).
Not surprisingly, in view of the above associations, Arianna Huffington serves on the Reform Institutes Advisory Board. Huffington has long acted as a front for George Soros campaign finance reform efforts. In 2000, she organized the so-called Shadow Conventions which provided John McCain with a bully pulpit to stump for his now-infamous McCain-Feingold Act. George Soros shouldered about one third of the cost of the Shadow Conventions.

I’m not making up my mind until I hear from Clubber Lang.
Last interview I saw with him he sounded about as punchy as Rocky would have been if he were real.
Clubber: "McPAIN!"
That’s mean.
Rocky Vs. Norris.
Should be fun.
No, that is true.
About all you can except from any so-called Hollywood conservative.
Funny, but I always lose a little respect for a cartoonist who feels his audience can’t identify his pictures so they label people.
We have one guy on our local paper who actually labels the people in his drawings by hanging actual tags off the pictures.
I might be a little slow on things because I’m currently in England, but I still don’t get how McCain is even considered a Republican?! Between him and Ron Paultard I don’t know what’s happened to the Republicans?! Silly me, I said I liked Fred Thompson and I must have jinxed him because he dropped out, dammit! Do we need to tear a page out of the British National Party Handbook and start an “American National Party” minus the Holocaust denial? Contrary to what you may have heard, the BNPs mantra is basically “Britains to preserve Britain”. There are members who are of all different creeds and colours, and if you go to the BNP website, there are some posts from a “MuslimwhovotesBNP”, which they welcome. They’re not nearly as racist as the Socialist media makes them out to be, however I do have a problem with the Holocaust denial thing, which I think they’re trying to address...Sorry, I’m not being a cheerleader for them, but England is under attack and I think they’re the only way out! The “Conservative Tory” Party of England here makes our Lefties look downright Facist!
I didn’t know Sylvester Stallone was a Democrat.
Another agrument against the ‘talent’ doing their own stunts...
Too much brain damage...
Why would anyone even care?
If it’s all the same, I’m waiting until I find out who Paulie Shore is supporting before make my decision.
:D
We have Chuck Norris, and now Sly. I am waiting to see who Stephen Segall endorses, because I don’t want to make a rash decision.

Rocky is an amnesty supporter so it’s no surprise that he like practically the entire media establishment is rooting for Queeg.
Hi-larious!!
As the great Will Rogers said, “Its easy to be a humorist when you have the whole government working for you.”
lol, I may have to borrow that line!
:)
I got it slightly wrong, the real quote is on my silly profile. ;-)
Giuliani must be asking why Stallone did this. Why McCain? Why not the paesano?
Better yet, who is Bruce Willis backing? And the CSI guys?

I heard Homer Simpson is backing Ron Paul
LOL!
What is your prediction for the fight-PAIN!
I love Stallone and would very much rather vote for him over McCain.
I suppose this is an improvement since every other Hollywood conservative, from Jon Voight to Adam Sandler, had already announced their support for Giuliani.
