THE GREAT BLACK-HISPANIC SPLIT IT GOES FAR BEYOND CLINTON VS. OBAMA By STEVEN MALANGA Jackson: Long term, couldn't ease blacks' fears on immigration. January 22, 2008 -- FIERCE fighting over the minority vote may be the real surprise of the '08 Democratic race, with many blacks gravitating to Sen. Barack Obama and Hispanics to Sen. Hillary Clinton. But this split isn't just about these candidates; it's been a long time coming. The tensions have many sources, but the one few analysts

Look at the positive. If Obama wins the Demonrat nomination, and does not pick Bill Richardson as his VP, the Hispanics may stay home or vote Republican.

I know this much from personal experience.
I work with several people who consider them self's to be Mexican-Americans. Now you may think southern white hicks are racist, but they don't come close to how racist these people are.

Now I want to stress that I am not condemning an entire bloc of people as racist, I am saying that it appearers that the majority of “Mexican-Americans”, and Mexicans for that matter, have very little respect for blacks.

Colors. They are no different than the gangs that run the streets. MS13, bloods, crips etc. The democrats have always been in favor of segregating themselves and pitting one group against the other. Only democrats belong to these racist groups like NAACP, black caucus, hispanic caucus, LaRaza etc.

Ain’t it ironic that the party that says it’s for racial preferences and gender equality is having major problems with race and gender issues? And they can’t even blame the republicans.

The Democrat Party is not big enough for these two factions. Hispanics have the big numbers but they don’t vote in a bloc like most African Americans do. A third party could come out of this conflict.

Hillary could ostracize blacks if she gets in.
I don’t think Hispanics are known for voting much.

I think she has killed about 5% of the national vote she would have gotten had she not attacked racially Obama (who will not win the nomination).

That bloc problem will be overcome for Democrats when the new president, Democrat or Republican, gets Amnesty passed into law. Very soon there will be 12-40 million new Democrats/socialists and the Republican Party will cease to be a presence on the National scene except for an occasional Rockefeller throwback on the state level in the Northeast. The new Democrats will not split their vote- because of their background and because it will give them control of the Party, or, rather, it will make them think they have control until they subside into a permanently powerless portion of the Democrat machine led by their own Jacksons and Sharptons.

"The legal/illegal...Much of same like mind regardless here."

Problem is that, while they may resent the illegals' ability to skip procedures and to game the system - they've accepted the situation so far and will likely tolerate it further rather than to vote for a black candidate.

"to Hispanics they are black anglos and to Indians black white men, to Hispanics they are black anglos and to Indians black white men. "

Way back when, I was in Asia for awhile and both black and white Americans were considered "European".

American born Asians were considered American and not Chinese/Japanese etc. [Additionally, we are all 'Big Noses' whether they are flat, pug, roman, or special order].

From what I've been told, black Americans are not considered African-anything in their ancestral countries - they too are Americans or Europeans.

Needless to say, the Brits and Europeans I dealt with over the years considered me American although I'm only second [paternal] generation.

Ironically African-American is a lot like German-Irish. My mother’s people are Indians (Native-Americans) and her “nation” has been mixed blood for about two hundred years. Few can be called “full-bloods, even if they look lie that. I look white; my sister looks like a full-blood, even though we are both 3/8. Ditto many, many African Americans. Every time I see a true African, say a Nigerian, I know immediately he is not an American black. His whole posture is different. I recall a Scientific American article —in the ‘50s—I think. The contention among southern American whites, at least a third had some black ancestry; among southern blacks at least a third had some white blood. Southerners in general are a mixture of white, black and Indian blood. Likewise their culture.

Oh yes they are blaming Republicans. Obama pulled out Lee Atwater against Clinton today. That is what the racist flap is all about. The pathetic thing about Obama dissing Lee Atwater is that Lee Atwater is dead and can't defend himself.

“They don’t vote Republican unless a Catholic Bishop advises them in Texas”.
You’d be surprised how many Hispanics have became Evangelicals of various sorts in the Houston area. I don’t have a number but I know it’s very large.
I once financed the building of a “Hispanic” Assembly of God Church in Houston. The members and the Pastor could not have been nicer. The Church grew rapidly and they paid the loan off very early.
Ironically, their Pastor was a Spanish speaking Filipino. He was married to a Mexican-American woman however. Jokingly he told me that since he was a Filipino and his wife was Hispanic, that nust make their kids Jalepenos!

Mexicans I know in California can’t stand American blacks who they view as lazy.

Consider that many illegal aliens “commute” across the border, now paying $3000 for a coyote (guide) just so they can work for minimum wage or thereabouts in the fields, in construction, in restaurants, and gardening.

At the same time, we’ve got black in American cities sayin’ “Ah can’t get me no job!”

Mexicans have true hard-working Republican ethics and most are Catholic.

Best estimates are that 30% of white Americans have at least some black blood, and 70% of black Americans have at least some white blood. When you throw in Native-American blood, not to mention Asian blood, there are few non-mixed black Americans, and the white population is mixed to a good degree also.

“Mexican-Americans”, and Mexicans for that matter, have very little respect for blacks.

They never have. The two minority groups compete for the same resources, as do the Korean's and Chinese. There has always been a lot of friction going back a hundred years.

I read an article on Canada Free Press that said that the Clinton operatives were in every casino during the caucuses, rounding up all the Hispanics with an army of translators and ballots, explaining that Hillary was on their side and that they should vote for her and helping them mark their ballots.

The significant issue is that the Hispanic workers didn’t speak English.

Calif. a bit different. There are a few small towns on both side of the Texas border.

In Calif. San Diego with a population of 3 million - southern border is Tijuana with over 1 million popoulation.

The overwhelming of that population is liberal to left.
I was one of those who countered over 50,000 Mexicans who marched here in San Diego with their Marxist signs and Mexicans flags.

They have many resources who nurture them in their left wing views.

The drug cartels, corrupt gov. and police across the border has rusulted in especially the past weeks street warfare, battles, automatic weapons, and the usual beheadings. all this 20 miles south of San Diego
