Well I have considered “jumping” out of the pot too....but the other “pots” that are available have similar or even worse issues....so I plan to hide under the frogs armpit....hidden in plain sight.

;-)

What passes for our federal government can block anything like this that it wants to block on grounds of national security -- if they can possibly remember what that phrase means...

Oh but since we only have 'homeland' security now, maybe they can't

They're tay-kin over our country!"

Why don't you try publishing some documents that say Islam maybe isn't a religion of peace. Try to put it on youtube and see what happens to your 'free speech'.

Then tell us Dubai and Saudi dollars don't mean anything when they are spent in this country.

In some cases; in other cases, which is worse, it's out of WILLFUL ignorance.

I guess I am a googling fool tonight. I was thinking about the first countries that started this mess. Here is an article that I found but won’t read it til tomorrow. Too long for tonight. You might be interested.

http://www.gmu.edu/academic/ijps/vol4_2/voronkov.htm

excerpt (next to last paragraph)

“Through integration processes at a regional level, development of ties between different regional groups and their individual participants, as well as through the liberalisation of world trade and the activity of multi-national corporations, the firm ground for a highly-integrated and interdependent, future world economy, is being laid.”

I’ll bet the idiots at the UN were in a panic this morning with all the world markets heading down, down, down. LOL. So much for interdependence.

With all things considered and the FULL picture as clear as a bell, my only real question at this point would be...”now what?”

Prevention really ended nearly 20 yrs ago, so that’s not where I want to spend me time. Fighting with so few that even care anymore is exactly productive. And two steps forward and one step back is 100% non-productive.

Chronicle the demise of a great nation that was? Report on the growing problems that are and will continue to ripple here, just as they already have in Western Europe? Lots can be reported or chronicled, but prevention, control or change in direction is something I don’t see happening right now.

And you are then getting the "full" picture....how can that happen if that's not in "the plans" to happen?

According to the UN, interdependence will insure world peace.

There will always be some level of interdependence. But interdependence, at some level, will strengthen the need for World Government, International Courts and, of course, taxes to support them.

The cry for energy independence, while at the same time encouraging dependence on production by China (and others) of all sorts of necessary consumables, is pure hypocrisy.
