Amnah is a modern British Muslim. She is dressed in a denim skirt and her head is covered in a hijab. Poised and self-assured, she has come to meet Dr Suhaib Hasan, a silver-bearded sheikh who sits behind his desk, surrounded by religious books.
The origins and obligations of sharia law advertisement "But why would I have to observe the waiting period?" she asks him. "What are the reasons?" There is an urgency to her questions.
"These reasons don't apply to me, that's what I'm very confused about. If you could give me the reasons why I have to wait three months, then I'll understand."
Amnah is going through a divorce and is baffled at being told that she must wait for three months to remarry, considering that she hasn't seen her estranged husband for two years.
She twists her sock-clad toes into the carpet, grasping one hand with the other in her lap, and fixes Dr Hasan with an intense look. He meets this with a simple reply: "These rulings are all in the Koran. The rulings are made for all."
Amnah has little choice but to comply: Dr Hasan is a judge, and this is a sharia court - in east London. It sits, innocuously, at the end of a row of terrace houses in Leyton: a converted corner shop, with blinds on the windows, office- style partitions and a makeshift reception area.

The idea that ideologies hostile to the very existence of our nation or our Constitution also deserve protection was the creation of radical leftists.
It’s idiocy of the highest degree. The intellectual inbreeding required to fall for that grotesque of a manipulation of reality is beyond rational understanding.
Hostile ideologies are not a matter of differing opinion. They are a matter of differing loyalties and adherence to them is betrayal.
Islam the religion (not the political system) gets First Amdendment protection insofar as any religion does -- it must not run afoul of our other laws.
For example, I am free to practice, let's say, worship of oak trees. Except that I am not permitted to do so on my neighbor's property without his permission -- I have to get my own oak trees to worship. And if my worship of, let's say, sharp pointy objects involves their use in carving up other people, that's prohibited too.
"Free exercise of religion" is like any other protected freedom -- it stops where it infringes on the rights of others according to law.
On the other hand, Islam the political system must be kept from gaining a foothold anywhere in America. It is complete anathema to our Constitutional Republic.
Note: I'm not trying to convince you of anything. Just stating my opinion on the applicability of the First.

They want to offer it to the United States also. I think that the seeds have been sown in some places.

The only way this can happen is if we deport all Muslims. Send them back to where they came from. Outlaw the religion of Islam in America. Destroy all of their mosques here. Stop them from entering the United States. If the Arabs/Muslims don't like it, just tell them they can raise the price their oil (like they do when they have a hissy fit) and to put some ice on their bruised egos. Then tell them they can go to Hell!

As long as American Idol,nfl football, basketball, and baseball is being shown on t.v., most Americans don’t give a rip about what is happening around them. The talking heads on the sis o’clock news would tell them that it is President Bush’s fault and they would be saying “What is going on” to the muslims as they cut their throats.
Has the union jack been replaced yet? Any day now.
The only way to avoid what is happening in Britain (and the only way the Brits can save themselves) is through immigration reform.

I was so shocked ten years ago when I talked to the owners of a local pizza parlor. They were of Lebanese descent, although settled in the US since the early 1900’s and as American as apple pie, seemingly.
Until I asked them if they made any Jewish deli foods. They began telling me how evil Jews are, how they control the world, on and on. So I assumed they were the goofy Christian Identity goofballs found throughout the West, but then they told me they were Muslims who moved here (Southern Oregon) from Dearborn, Michigan.
I had never heard of Muslims living in Oregon, and I had no idea how anti-Jewish they were, until I met this family. They sounded like hard-core KKK people.
They also told me there were about 300 Muslims in Southern Oregon...I was really amazed, and sickened.

Isn’t “offer” the first step? As I understand it, Islam extends its influence by first offering its tenets and belief system to the infidels. If refused, then they demand. If still refused, they take up arms to convert by force or kill the infidel, enslave the survivors, and extract the dhimmi tax.
This is not a religion. It’s a cult. A barbaric, extorting, murderous cult that is deserving only of our contempt and which should be driven back to the caves from whence it sprang.
