From the cited arrticle:

Gearing up for the high court’s review, news media around the country have been trumpeting the ordeals that Ewing and others in Indiana allegedly suffered due to Indiana’s voter ID law. One news story related how Ewing received a standing ovation at the polls in Lafayette in November 2006, after she spent several hours on Election Day obtaining an Indiana photo ID.

That's nothing new. Two other criminals I can think of right off hand, get standing ovations from democraps -- Bill and hillary Clinton.

Why not have the purple dye for people who’ve voted too?

Someone may have multiple IDs in hand.

“By now you know the liberal arguments ... it disenfranchises the poor, the minorities, the elderly, blah blah blah.”

Did they pull out the ol’ “it’s for the children” yet?

She claims two states as her primary residence. She received a homestead exemption on her property taxes ... in two different states. In other words, the leftist poster girl for their fight against voter identification laws is a criminal. What a shame.

This "doll" is not only guilty of voter fraud, but bilking the IRS is a Federal Crime with big penalties.

Throw the book at her.

These people who don’t have IDs must have a dickens of a time:

- writing checks
- cashing checks (including paychecks)
- using a credit card
- driving a car
- renting a car
- boarding an airplane
- buying a beer
- buying a package of cigarettes
- entering a bar
- picking up a package at the post office
- identifying themselves to a questioning police officer

From the link on Neil's page:

At the Charlotte County, Fla., voter registration office, Sandy Wharton, vote qualifying office manager, said Ewing registered to vote in Charlotte County on Sept. 18, 2002, and signed an oath that she was a Florida resident and understood that falsifying the voter application was a third-degree felony punishable by prison and a fine up to $5,000.

Wharton said her office checked Ewing’s Florida residency and qualified her on Oct. 2, 2002. On Oct. 4, 2002, they mailed her Florida voter card to her, to the West Lafayette, Ind., address that Ewing gave as a mailing address.

She needs to have her picture published and be prosecuted as a felon by the state of Florida.

"By now you know the liberal arguments ... it disenfranchises the poor, the minorities, the elderly, blah blah blah."

Yes. We also know the real arguments...it disenfranchises the non-living, the pets, the illegal aliens, the multiple voters, the fictitious characters, blah blah blah--in other words the Democrat base support.

If voter fraud were eliminated, the Democrats would be voted out of office forthwith. OBVIOUSLY they are fighting this. Their very survival is at stake!
