Looks like the bedwetters have gotten themselves into quite an ironic pickle. The Supreme Court is deciding on a case of voter ID requirements in Indiana. By now you know the liberal arguments ... it disenfranchises the poor, the minorities, the elderly, blah blah blah.
Well it looks like someone didn't do their homework.
Faye Buis-Ewing is 72 years old. She has become a "poster child" for the disenfranchised voter that will be protected under a voting system with no ID requirements. But now we've discovered one minor problem. Not only is Faye registered to vote, but she is registered in two different states.
http://www.kpcnews.com/articles/2008/01/09/news/today/evening_star/doc478441f2313a5420740819.txt
She claims two states as her primary residence. She received a homestead exemption on her property taxes ... in two different states. In other words, the leftist poster girl for their fight against voter identification laws is a criminal. What a shame.
Faye could not only vote, but she could technically vote more than the average citizen registered in only one state! She explains that she and her husband "winter in Florida and summer in Indiana." Isn't that sweet? She says that she has never voted in Florida, but she has a Florida driver's license. And when she went to vote in Indiana in November 2006 with her Florida driver's license, they, logically, did not accept it. Doesn't seem like rocket science to me! But hey, this is the average voter we are speaking of.
Now the League of Women Voters (I'm sure they are my biggest fans) say this experience is exactly the reason the law should be changed. No, ladies .... That is exactly the reason why the law should be upheld! I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that Faye is voting for Hillary Clinton. Maybe twice.
Remember this. It's the Democrats who are opposed to Voter ID laws, and it is the MoveOn Democrats who have benefited more often than not from illegal voters casting ballots. Even a government school graduate can figure out why they don't want voters to have to prove who they are. Hell, even I can figure that out.
Gearing up for the high courts review, news media around the country have been trumpeting the ordeals that Ewing and others in Indiana allegedly suffered due to Indianas voter ID law. One news story related how Ewing received a standing ovation at the polls in Lafayette in November 2006, after she spent several hours on Election Day obtaining an Indiana photo ID.
That's nothing new. Two other criminals I can think of right off hand, get standing ovations from democraps -- Bill and hillary Clinton.
Why not have the purple dye for people who’ve voted too?
Someone may have multiple IDs in hand.
“By now you know the liberal arguments ... it disenfranchises the poor, the minorities, the elderly, blah blah blah.”
Did they pull out the ol’ “it’s for the children” yet?
This "doll" is not only guilty of voter fraud, but bilking the IRS is a Federal Crime with big penalties.
Throw the book at her.
These people who don’t have IDs must have a dickens of a time:
- writing checks
- cashing checks (including paychecks)
- using a credit card
- driving a car
- renting a car
- boarding an airplane
- buying a beer
- buying a package of cigarettes
- entering a bar
- picking up a package at the post office
- identifying themselves to a questioning police officer
Many liquor stores cash paychecks without ID, then whine when they are defrauded.

At the Charlotte County, Fla., voter registration office, Sandy Wharton, vote qualifying office manager, said Ewing registered to vote in Charlotte County on Sept. 18, 2002, and signed an oath that she was a Florida resident and understood that falsifying the voter application was a third-degree felony punishable by prison and a fine up to $5,000.
Wharton said her office checked Ewings Florida residency and qualified her on Oct. 2, 2002. On Oct. 4, 2002, they mailed her Florida voter card to her, to the West Lafayette, Ind., address that Ewing gave as a mailing address.
She needs to have her picture published and be prosecuted as a felon by the state of Florida.
The Dems would probably accuse Republicans of kidnapping people who hadn't voted yet and forcing their fingers into an ink jar.
Yes. We also know the real arguments...it disenfranchises the non-living, the pets, the illegal aliens, the multiple voters, the fictitious characters, blah blah blah--in other words the Democrat base support.
If voter fraud were eliminated, the Democrats would be voted out of office forthwith. OBVIOUSLY they are fighting this. Their very survival is at stake!
