Kerry’s act of treason was when he knowingly lied to Congress about witnessing and participating in “war crimes”.
A traitor must provide aid and comfort to the enemy in a time of war (Constitutionally defined).
Kerry’s actions to silence the SwiftVets was an act of despotism. Much as any two-bit politician who “ran” the system back in the 1940s got things done (silencing, demonizing, criminalizing, and slurring the opposition).
Kerry did release them. To a friendly journalist at the Boston Glob who “assures” us that there is nothing to see.
Kerry knows full well that the challenge was to release the documents to his critiques.
The financial challenge put to Kerry asks for the military record as well as Kerry’s diary from the time.
IBHH=In before the Ha-Ha! graphic with the kid from the Simpsons.
Oh...
Over at the DUmp, where Kerry was never more loved than a spoonful of castor oil, they are peeved at his implicit slap of Edwards, one poster saying it effectively destroys Edwards’ hopes of winning. Well I should HOPE so.
Ha ha is the ur-schadenfreude. The primitive, schoolyard glee one feels as the Dems (at least Edwards) take another in the @ss. :)
I don't have the book in front of me and hence can't get the terminology correct, but I believe what was released could be viewed as an "edited" version of his true record.
Dims hate it when truth gets in the way of what they want.
That’s what I remember...if he truly wanted to “get the truth out” he’s sign a Form 1080(?) which allows release of his entire record.
Edwards can say or do anything, including suing, he wants to. Until Kerry releases HIS military records, there is no proof that the Swift Vets are anything except truthful. Stop whining, John, you lost and deservedly so.
Maybe we should send them a copy of "To Set The Record Straight"
. . . or at least link to an FR article about it . . .
