Sen. Hillary Clinton went on the counterattack today, one day after a stinging defeat in the Iowa caucuses to Illinois Sen. Barack Obama.
She said New Hampshire voters need to take a hard look at Obama, suggesting that they shouldn't just buy into his message of "hope" without analyzing his policies.
Clinton said she wasn't suggesting anything in particular about Obama, but simply "drawing contrasts."
"I'm running on my record. … I'm running on my plans," Clinton told reporters. "I think everybody needs to be vetted and tested. That's the way elections are supposed to operate. The last thing the Democrats need is to just move quickly through this process."
Clinton said voters need to ask Obama more questions about his health-care plan to find out "where he stands."
... Asked what she meant ...that all of the vetting and investigations of her record had found her "most innocent," Clinton simply said: "I think I come into this race tested and proven and ready to take on the Republicans no matter what they send my way."

Why would she claim innocence? I think she is displaying her tell.

Deanna Favre starting QB for the Packers this Sunday........
In a news conference Deanna Favre announced she will be the starting QB for the Packers this coming Sunday.
She claimed she is qualified to be starting QB because she has spent the past 16 years married to Brett while he played QB for the Packers. Because of this she understands how to pick up a corner blitz and knows the terminology of the Packers offense. A poll of Packers fans shows that 50% of those polled supported the move.
Does this sounds idiotic and unbelievable to you?
Yet Hillary Clinton makes the same claims as to why she is qualified to be President and 50% of democrats polled agreed.
Hmmm, she could have an affair with Samuel Jackson....naw, he’s got to much class....
My take is that without the black vote we never would have been subjected to the curse that is clintonism. But having lived by the sword they are now at risk of dying from it. And one can’t help but laugh at the irony of it all.
...or like military spouses who get half of the military member’s retirement because they somehow “earned” it by being married to the member while the member served his or her country. Ducking now...

As much as I don’t like a certain “haircut populist” and a certain fluff candidate with an embarrasingly bad name for a president, I just love getting to revel in Hillary getting what’s coming to her. Perhaps it’s too soon to celebrate, but I’m tickled pink by her campaign’s desperate attempts to spin her loss in Iowa.

Clinton ran on "Hope" and "Change" with no policies in 1992 and that was OK then....

And why doesn't Hillary ask Barack Obama's mother to go on tour with her? Everybody seems to have forgotten that she is a white woman from Kansas.
