Eight Afghans who ate an infected camel as part of a religious celebration died of what health experts suspect is a rare case of naturally occurring anthrax. Ten others fell sick in the southwestern province of Nimroz.

Better to pray that Karzai allows McDonalds to set itself up there and soon. The Japanese went gaga for American cuisine after the War perhaps the Afghanis will too. Then they can get back to riding their camels instead of eatin’ ‘em.
