I remember being tested for TB in school. Maybe we are going to have to do that again. Seems to me TB is coming back. I read that drug addicts seem to be infected with it quite often. I really think we have to protect our borders from these diseases that are coming here. It is scary.

Being a citizen doesn't give anyone the right to potentially infect hundreds of people out of a desire to come home. If you're infectious, you're going to have to figure out an alternate way to get home for treatment.

Yeah, got it, as I stated in further posts. My point was that there was an attempt to make an illegal alien issue out of something that may not be an illegal alien issue in the first place.

Or, perhaps personal responsibility to know as much as possible about the disease that you have, and what measures you can take to mitigate the risk of infected others... such as not traveling while displaying symptoms and wearing a face mask when symptoms are not being displayed while in enclosed areas.

You are right!In US the most vulnerable are, the children, the elderly, any person under immunosupression medication( organ transplant,Rheumatoid arthritis methotrexat treatment, cortisone therapy etc)HIV people, drug addicted, alcoholics, food deprived people,diabetics etc. An healthy adult can get the TB infection(skin test positive) but not necessarily active tuberculosis(the disease).Any person with active tuberculosis is spreading TB bacillus and contaminate the environment.That is dangerous!

Its very disturbing to me to see that childhood diseases we were almost rid of are making a comeback. Like the mumps in the mid-west last year or so & Chickenpox. I hear so many parents say I refuse to get my child shots because the shots are bad for them. I am old enough to remember those illnesses & even signs on the door warning people they couldn’t come in. I had Rheumatic fever as a child & I remember being so sick. I think we are going to be trouble if people don’t understand that illegals are bringing diseases into this country. Even people flying in from other countries can bring in diseases we didn’t have or had gotten into control. TB is very scary to me & I think we are going to get to the point we will all need to be tested again.
