Duncan Hunter for president!

Duncan Hunter for president!

Regular readers of my column know that I have enthusiastically supported Tom Tancredo for president.

In fact, two years ago, I personally asked Tancredo to run for president because I feared there would be no Republican candidate offering real solutions to America’s crisis with illegal immigration and border security.

Illegal immigration and border security: Duncan Hunter takes a backseat to no one on this issue – not even Tom Tancredo. He took the initiative long ago to protect the citizens of his own San Diego area by building a virtually impenetrable fence that has cut down human trafficking in the area by nearly 100 percent.

GOOD JOB!!

DUNCAN HUNTER IS THE BEST ON INTERNATIONAL ISSUES FOR SURE.

And Domestic Policy is rock solid, too.

Enough of this fiddling around with RINOS and nitwits in the Primary. Let's GET SERIOUS.

I think John Bolton's endorsement should logically come next (if not to McCain as I know McCain stood up for his nomination quite vigorously).

Farah and myself know that most of the other canididates who are considered “relevant”, “important” or “have a chance to win” are all totally political.

That means they talk conservative but will act more liberally in office.

In fact they’ll talk more liberally once they get the nomination.

That’s my conviction regarding the lot of them and that’s why my game would be to vote tactically to mess these people up because they are basically all the same.

Stop the smear attacks against the other guys claiming your guy is a “real conservative.”

That campaign spin flies in the face of reality.

Heck, I intend to vote GOP and support our ticket, but please spare me the emotional hype claiming Thompson or Romney or whoever is some great “conservative.”

They all got warts.

So a principled vote would be Duncan Hunter and I would do it in a heartbeat.

I’ve voted for outsiders a lot in presidential primaries from Pat Robertson to Steve Forbes.

Ron Paul clearly stinks and my concern about the McCain Mutiny 2 leads me to vote Romney if I live in New Hampshire.

I would probably tactically vote Romney in Iowa, too.

But my vote of principle is for Duncan Hunter.

Good for you, Joe Farah.

NO BS about Joe Blow (”Mainstream Candidate”) being a great “federalist” or “conservative.”

Here are a couple Joseph Farah quotes:

“I am 100 percent certain man and dinosaurs walked the earth at the same time. In fact, I’m not at all sure dinosaurs are even extinct!?

“There are also countless contemporary sightings of what appear to be pterodactyls in Asia and Africa.”

Now, do you see why Farah is considered to be a nut case?

Hunter needs something to jump-start his campaign. He’s been under 5% for a year.

Regardless of what you think of Farrah, the endorsement has to be considered a plus for Hunter. He needs to make a strong showing in Iowa.

And thank goodness they spelled Duncan Hunter's name right! He gets more visibility (which is needed) to combat the MSM which brainwashes voters that he "cannot win". (Liberal self fulfilling defeatest prophecies).

He stated that in a too absolute way, but just to let you know, there are a number of Christians who believe that as well (that dinosaurs co-existed with man.) It is not agreed on, of course, by all Christians... and it definitely is nutty to non-Christians. But I’m just saying, there are other Christians who believe that.

Naw. If Farrah had endorsed Fred Thompson, it wouldn’t have been newsworthy. It would have been lost among all the other higher profile endorsements of consequence Fred is receiving.

What is most newsworthy of Farrah’s endorsement is that Hunter wasn’t even his first choice, that was Tom Tancredo — further putting Farrah in light and his endorsement in context. And lets not forget that Tancredo endorsed Romney, not Hunter when he dropped out himself. I think the real story here is that now with Tancredo gone, Hunter has overtaken Keyes for the Unappeasable vote in the lesser watched GOP Political Suicide race.

Chuck Norris contributed some articles to WND. Chuck Norris, WND and Evangelicals, many feel, were responsible for the Huckasurge. The Huckster is now cleaning Fred’s clock and that doesn’t sit well on FR.

I think the consensus was that “Fred doesn’t dance to anyone’s tune” and at least indirectly alienated Values Voters and Evangelicals. Farah made a few remarks about dinosaurs but there can be no doubt he is on our side. I don’t know why he said those things, but weighed against his contributions to the conservative cause, it doesn’t really matter to me. Mine is not to further Darwinism but Conservatism.

It brings to mind the tactics of leftist Democrats to delineate conservatives as flat-earth rednecks because they dare place faith in something outside of Darwinism. I don’t know if he said what he said, to stir the pot, to goad or if he actually believes it. There seems to be a whole lot of things to like about the man and if you’re interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Farah

I wouldn't. I think (and have thought for several years) that Farah is a yellow journalist and that I wouldn't go to WND if it were the last news source on the planet. It's irksome to find, some mornings, that some FReeper has loaded FR with every article available at WND.

I agree with the first statement, and I have no knowledge about the second so I can't comment either way. There is a group in TX that have proof men and dinosaurs walked the earth at the same time....

Of course that does not mean he is not a nut case, only that you have failed to prove the assertion...

I'll Bump to that!

I heard Fred being interviewed early in the morning yesterday and he sounded terrible! He was very slow and his "ah's" and "uh's" were so distracting! By later in the day, when his answers had been more scripted, he sounded a bit better. I sure wish FNC had put Hunter on! There would have been straight talk that was intelligent! (with no "ah's" and "uh's")

Plus, I would have loved to hear Hunter's take on the Bhutto killing.

I'd support him without hesitation. But he has languished in the GOP basement because people say the pretenders in the front of the pack are more "electable." Look where principle gets you in 2008.

“Farah slams Ron Paul on earmarks but then endorses an out-and-out pork-barreler in Hunter.

Farah is a flaming hypocrite.”

Grasping again, EEE?

Do you want to compare Ron’s Pork and Hunters? No, I didn’t think so. Hunters ‘pork’ was for body armor and protection for our troops. Paul’s was about Shrimp and building the nafta highway. Why don’t you get your guy on FR to face the questions like Hunter did? But then Michael Reagan can’t even get Paul to appear on his radio show after inviting him 10 to 20 times.

DUNCAN HUNTER: “
Let me give a few examples of Hunter “earmarks”:

1) The double fence between Tijuana and San Diego that reduced smuggling of people and narcotics by more than 90%.

2) 10,000 jammers for troops in Iraq to protect against roadside bombs.

3) Filtration ponds on the most polluted river in North America (New River at the Mexican border) which have been credited with providing a 90% cleanup of the tainted water which is diverted through them.

My point is: Representatives of congressional districts are supposed to put together the budget of the United States. There is no Constitutional basis for the new thinking that the President’s budget is sacrosanct and that any changes by the very Representatives of the areas affected are somehow “illegitimate”. Spending or participating in the budget process is not, in and of itself, illegitimate, but is rather the very obligation of Congress. That said, wasteful projects should be eliminated, and their authors held politically accountable. You may notice that I post all my Congressional initiatives on the internet so that Americans can judge my record.”

The only time man and and dinosaur walked the earth at the same time was on the Flintstones. However, Fred Flintstone was not a real man, he was a cartoon character and Dino was not a dinosaur with the attributes of a dog but like Fred simple a cartoon character.

Aside, from the Flintstones and perhaps Land of the Lost, there is no evidence whatsoever that man and dinosaur existed at the same time.
