Ron Paul blames the assassination of Benazir Bhutto on the interventionist
policy of the United States, and says Al Qaeda is justified in being annoyed at us.
And Mike Huckabee apologized for it.
And there are still people here that take Ron “Blame U.S.” Paul and Mike “Apologizer” Huckabee seriously?! Huh?!
Fools rush in.
It's sickening what's happened to the Republican party.
Our only hope is these two think God is in a spaceship hiding behind a Comet.
Well, now they’ve done it. They’ve gone and split the Al Qaeda vote!
Ron Paul is insane.
After this latest political obscenity from Ron Paul, anyone who continues to support him should consider psychiatric evaluation. IMHO.
Congressman Billybob
I'm amazed that Derbyshire at NRO is for Ron Paul.
Is “SeefoodGumbo” the fat gals name ?:^).
During the Clinton Administration I think we followed the noninterventionist policies concerning India and Pakistan who successfully tested a nuclear bomb in 1998.
No one intervened with the tension brewing between those two nations.
Our noninterventionist policies after the Soviets left Afghanistan created the Taliban who took the nation back to the 700’s. If we intervened back in the 1990’s with rebuilding Afghanistan politically and economically....we would not have the proliferation of Islamic Jihadist spreading all over the Middle and Near East.
And Pakistan has nuclear weapons.
See what you get when you believe in noninterventionism or better yet....being Isolationist....you just pay for it later.
I have a poll running back at my humble blog on who is more bat<expletive deleted> crazy, Paul or Feingold.
You just don’t understand the Genius of Ron Pat Paulson. He is in the mold of Ronald Reagan and Teddy Roosevelt all rolled up into one. This was but one example. Your just a Globalist who doesn’t understand. Blah, blah, blah!
Pray for W and Our Victorious Troops
I’m not.
The guy is an idiot.
It ought to be interesting to see what the Ministry of Silly Explanations has to say about this.
By the way, Paulestinians - until the jury is in, I'm pretty much blaming this on the Pashtun/Taleban/Al Qaeda.
Blaming “US policy” for the actions of terrorists is SOP for RP. His hatred for the U.S. rivals that of any Democrat.
Derbyshire is as certifiable as Der Paul. Reading Derbyshire he seems to be one of the Leftist moles that have infiltrated the Conservative movement with the aim of destroying it from within by screaming non stop Hate GOP propaganda.
No one should take him seriously after his disgraceful performance in Oct 2006 over the Fence bill. He screamed no stop for 2 weeks that it was "going to be pocket vetoed" despite being repeatedly told it could not be pocket vetoed. He simply ignored all the facts on how a pocket veto works to keep screaming his ignorant bile in the crucial last few weeks of the campaign.
Derbyshire is a DNC butt clown pretending to be "conservative" No wonder they love him a National Rinos on Line.
He probably makes intermittent sense to his Libertarian constituency.
Al Qeda has claimed “credit” for killing Bhutto.
Only an anti-American, enemy-appeasing scumbag would blame the US, for crying out freakin' loud.
Let the knee-jerking begin!
Maybe you're right; to be honest, I haven't read much of his stuff for the last few years. I used to read all of the articles at NRO, but now I just swoop in to read Jonah, VDH, and Steyn...and a little of The Corner.
I had thought Derbyshire was somewhat libertarian, but didn't realize he's so warped in the head.
Ron Paul is on the DNC talking points email list because Chris Dodd was spewing the same bull shiite this morning.
Bray BUMP!
And Bush was at his ranch and stayed there...
You forgot "You're all a bunch of neocon statists who hate liberty and the Constitution. You're a bunch of war-mongering big-government lovers. And you're all just stupid!"
Eeeeewwww....imitating Paulestinians makes me want to go take a bath.
It already started....the minute some moonbat blamed US policy for a tragic assassination that happened less than 24 hours ago.
I see Paulbotism requires one to have their sense of sarcasm surgically removed.
And forced to join and post @ DU.. the Paulistinians would fit right in over there. Never thought I’d see the day somebody would make Kookcinich seem sane..er less crazy.
The only knee jerking is your Goose Stepping to your cult hero. It would be knee jerk if this wasn’t his 50th time. Most people take his words at face value and don’t have to Nuance the meaning.
He repeats his craziness so often we have a pretty good idea who this nutcase is. All he needs is a White Jacket w/extra long sleeves.
Pray for W and Our Victorious Troops
Sure, but he apologized while the stereo blasted a Van Halen song!
Is there anything that isn’t our fault, Dr. Paul?
He is now firmly in Noam Chomsky-land. And to think some FReepers are trying to pass this schmuck off as the only true conservative running. LOL.
BTW, care to explain away this bit of Paulbot insanity?

Paulbots claim Neocons planning assassination of Ron Paul
And the Paulbots wonder why we question their sanity?
Pervez needs to put his uniform back on and clean house.
Kill the bad guys.....and then we can vote.
Just saying....
On domestic policy he is a libertarian as anyone talking and is saying some things I actually agree with that no major candidate is addressing, but on foreign policy he is just what you say, nuts.
What? All I did was state "Let the knee-jerking begin!"
It's a typical statement from Paul, it is what it is and it'll have no bearing on neither his supporters or his detractors.
Same ol' same ol. They will say in sanctimonious tones "Ron Paul believes in the Constitution ..." Some people are unable to deal with more than one or two or three issues at a time. If they love a candidate on their pet issues they will forgive him for everything else. That's just my take though.
All that crap was wrapped in the Blah, blah, blah. Great to pound your chest and scream at the top of your lungs, if you don’t have to face the consequences of those actions.
Real leaders like President Bush don’t have that luxury. He has to lead the Greatest Superpower the world has ever seen. He Is the Sheriff.
Cut&Run Paul is the pacifist on the corner who gets everyone killed.
Pray for W and Our Amazing Troops

Actually, in Pakistan's case, I don't think democracy is a good idea. Malkin has a quote by Andy McCarthy that explains why this might be so:
A recent CNN poll showed that 46 percent of Pakistanis approve of Osama bin Laden. Aspirants to the American presidency should hope to score so highly in the United States. In Pakistan, though, the al-Qaeda emir easily beat out that countrys current president, Pervez Musharraf, who polled at 38 percent.President George Bush, the face of a campaign to bring democracy or, at least, some form of sharia-lite that might pass for democracy to the Islamic world, registered nine percent. Nine!
If you want to know what to make of former prime minister Benazir Bhuttos murder today in Pakistan, ponder that.
There is the Pakistan of our fantasy. The burgeoning democracy in whose vanguard are judges and lawyers and human rights activists using the rule of law as a cudgel to bring down a military junta. In the fantasy, Bhutto, an attractive, American-educated socialist whose prominent family made common cause with Soviets and whose tenures were rife with corruption, was somehow the second coming of James Madison.
Then there is the real Pakistan: an enemy of the United States and the West.
I think Musharraf is actually the best of really bad options for that crappy country.
“I always thought we were quick to push democracy there.”
I simply don’t understand why the US starts making public pushing for elections in places that would be much more stable with a generally pro-american dictatorship. The US isn’t going to get a perfect government in most countries it wants to politically interfere in, but honestly I don’t see how we could get a more favorable government in Pakistan, regardless of problems with the current one. Folks on FR and other places make one-liner comments, but seriously, who is going to replace Musharraf who has a similar amount of control over the military, the intelligence service, etc.? We are talking about a nuclear power here with a political system centuries behind ours.
Why? When the world has terrorists and naysayers
in abundanmce...and very few optimists...why do we have
people running for POTUS, who will come out and
make desparaging statements, that the media loves to
exploit?? knock it off....and voters..never vote for
anyone who is not optimisticbo about us.some
of us fought for all of us. Ronald Reagan did also,
and approached everything wwith alacrity !!!!!!!!! JK
Ron Paul is a disgrace.
Johnnie, I've always denounced the crackpots who are exploiting Paul's campaign. That video doesn't prove anything except you have a bored fringe out there looking to cause trouble.
Now I've saw the video of Paul here and it's really a general statement that I'd expect him to make about the tragic death of Bhutto. You can call it what you want but when the dust settles it's not going to change minds one way or another.
You're a Monty Python fan too?
The Ministry of silly walks is coming up next. ;-D
