More left-wing idiocy about "man made global warming", written by a "journalist" with no scientific background whatsoever. Lindorff theorizes that "man made global warming" will wipe out conservatives and actually appears pleased by that prospect. This oxygen waster is a total fool.

What an idiot. The important thing is that we, on the higher ground both actually and figuratively, need to remember that, when they begin their historic migration from their doomed regions, we not give them the keys to the city. They certainly should be offered assistance in their time of need, but we need to keep a firm grip on our political systems, making sure that these guilty throngs who allowed the world to go to hell are gerrymandered into political impotence in their new homes.

Actually in a natural disaster the conservatives survive by taking action and the lefties perish waiting for FEMA to save them.

So the future political map of America is likely to look as different as the much shrunken geographical map, with much of the so-called red state region either gone or depopulated.

About the author: Philadelphia journalist Dave Lindorff is a 34-year veteran, an award-winning journalist, a former New York Times contributor, a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, a two-time Journalism Fulbright Scholar,...I don't see any science degrees. What makes this loon any kind of expert on climatology?

The goal has always been to decrease the consumption and standard of living of the industrialized West and the US in particular. The “scientific basis” may have changed, but the goal remains the same.

Nothing despotic or tyrannical about that quote, no siree, just good old American justice. If they don't think the way you do then don't let 'em vote./SAR
Lefties must never sit back and read what they write or listen to what they say.
To start with: If man made global warming, or any type of global warming, were true, and I don't believe for a minute it is, then what is this guy doing about it? Does he drive a car? Does he use electricity? Does he breathe air(gotta wonder about that last one sometimes)? Is he foregong all modern conviences in the name of climate control? I really doubt it. So where does he get off blaming conservatives for something everyone, the world over, is doing?
What a jerk this guy is.

This is what passes for “journalism” these days? Looks like all the smart columnists have made their escape from the dying newspapers, which have resorted to scraping the bottom for content. What a sad note to end on for a once revered industry.

What a moron! Does this idiot think we’re just gonna stand our ground and drown. This assumes that there is such a thing in the making. The arrogance and stupidity of these people is never ending.

I see ... so the American southeast, Texas, almost all of Florida, most of Louisiana, and half of Alabama and Mississippi, as well as goodly portions of eastern Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina “will by completely inundated by the rising ocean”, but so-called “climate experts” say the midwest “is likely to face a permanent condition of unprecedented drought, making the place largely unlivable, and certainly unfarmable.”
Looks like the DUmmies will be transporting water from the flood areas to the drought areas in their Priuses.

Will anyone vouch for the accuracy of the underlying premise that it’s the areas that conservatives live that will be underwater if the oceans rise?
My gut tells me that since most of the population lives near the oceans, and in cities near the oceans, that it is the cities and their BLUE residents who will be underwater.
New York and San Francisco come to mind immediately
What do you call a homosexual up to his neck in water anyway?
