My liberal brother-in-law said yesterday that Hillary was a joke. He wants to vote for McCain because he's a moderate who will "do whatever it takes to get the job done."

Wanted to avoid in depth political discussion so I asked him to describe what he saw as "points of failure" in current domestic policy while I instructed him on how we roast coffee.

At least there was some pleasure out of the discussion.

They were discussing this ad this morning on WHO in Des Moines. They wondered how many people here in Iowa had seen this ad and if anyone knew of her Universal Pre-K plans. One lady called in and went on and on about how wonderful Hillary was to her son who works on her campaign. He as Asbergers syndrome and she has apparently been helping him out with the civil rights commission and such here in Iowa. She said that he had spoken to all the Democratic Candidates and she was the only one who took a personal interest in his problems! She was “WONDERFUL”! Made me want to gag!
