The mending continues. UBL and Zawahari must be so fizzed off of lately. Pelosi and Reid must be very confused as to what to piss and moan about next.
Meanwhile, in al Anbar, Ninawah, and other provinces, Sunni and Shiite, and the mixed set of Kurds, are coming together and fighting off al Qaeda and other insurgent forces.
Let us hope the Maliki government sees these continue movements to end all forms of the insurgency as a go ahead for them to put differences aside for a few years and just let the better leaders, tacticians, educators, and businessmen move this country into a position where the US Congress as well as most Western Nations shall not have an excuse to abandon their efforts.
Like has so ably been voiced at this site as well as many other sources. They must learn how to crawl before they can run. Perhaps they are actually approaching the terrible twos at this point. In some ways collectively they are moving ahead better then many have projected even a year back.
