Is that what he thinks Americans need from a President at this time? That would be fine if this were 1948. How about a “world-class genius when it comes to” fighting terrorism and militant Islamism?

To do what they do and get away with it means they have some very powerful worldly backing and protection. You ask me who? I’m not clear about the particulars. But you don’t get away with murder and treason here all by yourself.

I’m not convinced he’s disappointed. I think in his heart of hearts he’ll be relieved. I don’t see how he could really play second-fiddle to her in the White House, not even if she sent him on world tours with Madame Albright and Helen Thomas (after Bush, Senior, politely declined the opportunity).

Okay, he put a decently specific modifier on his compliment... but I'd really love to hear HOW she has actually and quantifiably improved the lives of her constituents in New York. (Remember them, Hillary?) As I recall, she hasn't done much of anything substantive as their esteemed senator. She's had the opportunity for 5 years to make a difference in the lives of a highly diverse population of 20 million souls... and yet all she has done is ignore them and focus on her personal path to glory. Exactly how can we rely on this pattern to change if she is elected to be the leader of the free world?
