More than likely she will be allowed to immigrate as soon as possible. They really do not want an honor killing now that they have proved themselves such enlightened souls by pardoning this sinful wench.

"The king always looks into alleviating the suffering of the citizens when he becomes sure that these verdicts will leave psychological effects on the convicted people, though he is convinced and sure that the verdicts were fair," al-Jazirah quoted al-Sheik as saying. So nice of him. NOT!!!
I can be grateful that the poor girl has been pardoned -- not that she has had a very nice time in the weeks and months since she was brutally raped -- but the statement above just goes to show that Muslims are every bit as contemptible as most of is believe. If not more so.

From the Telegraph's version of this story:
Saudi Arabia's king pardons gang-rape victim - Telegraph
The couple was sitting in a car when a group of seven Sunni men kidnapped them and raped them both, lawyers in the case told Arab News.
(emphasis added)
I hadn't heard that particular part about this story before...."shudder"

I think her pardon means no lashes.
I hope she learned her lesson and does not force other Muslim Men to rape her by dressing provocatively.

I’m reading Robert Spencer’s “The Truth About Muhammad”. Interesting to note that in Islime, a female needs a minimum of one male and two female witnesses on her behalf. If four ‘slime males come forth against her she’s toast. You get a rapist and 3 of his homeys and that’s all she wrote.

Sure. Didn’t you know? According to Muslim “thought”, you aren’t gay just because you rape a man. You’re just proving your manhood and your Islamic prowess. Unsheathing Allah’s mighty sword.

Why are they so out of control that they make it a crime to be provacative? Have they no sense of decency?

Saudi Arabia's al-Jazira newspaper says King Abdullah pardons female rape victim sentenced to receive 200 lashes. How magnanimous of him. In a show of good faith we should give him a pass on waterboarding the next member of the Saudi Royal Family that has to go to Cleveland Clinic for medical treament.

This pardon would never have happened without pressure from around the world against this barbarity. Unfortunately the lashing of rape victims is what passes for civilization under sharia law.

This is probably the best possible outcome for this poor woman. I’m not sure what else you Freepers expected King Abdullah to do about this...he let the courts sort it out, and when the courts turned out to be completely nuts, he stepped in.
In a country full of brainless crazies, the man with a brain cell would be king. Oh wait, I guess he is.
I hope she is allowed to leave the country.

Were it not for all the bad publicity, which, thank God, reached a high level, even in the MSM, he would not have given her a second thought.
