Might have been symptomatic of a larger problem.

"I hope Alex is all right. If he ever retired I wonder who would take over? I watch Jeopardy almost every night."
Well, Trebek himself took over from Art Fleming, who had done the show for many years, so I'm sure someone else could handle it with equal aplomb. But if I were Trebek, I would have long since retired and immersed myself in personal interests. I'm amazed he doesn't get bored with the show after all these years.

The answer must be in the form of a question.
What is......a heart attack?
To: DoughtyOne
In the form of a question, please.

Medicine for $100, Alex.
What is nitroglycerin for?....................

And, after commenting about Cheney’s heart attacks and issues, the Nurses’ Union came out and said Trebek would’ve been dead if not for the fact he is a stinkin’ rich white guy and can afford cadillac health care.
You go, girls! Paging Nurse Ratchett...

“a minor heart attack”
Said by a guy who didn’t experience it....
“What is still scary enough to make you crap your pants at the very thought of it, Alex?”

How soon they forget.

Are they finally getting around to filing charges against him for some equine scam or whatever?
To: Yo-Yo
Yes I remember Art Fleming. I even watched the show with him hosting when I was a little kid. I meant, if Alex retires, I hope they don’t try to change to format of the show or hire some offbeat character like Whoopi or Rosie. ;)

I’m amazed he doesn’t get bored with the show after all these years.
Let’s say they do ~200 shows a year. That’s ~100 hours of taping. 8 hours, once a month, depending how they schedule it.
Not very hard duty.
