At least three Hamas members were killed and two others injured in an Israeli missile strike in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, Palestinian medical workers said. According to Reuters, locals said the group of fighters had been firing mortars at Israel at the time of the strike. The incident took place around the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip.
An Israeli army spokeswoman confirmed the army carried out an air strike on activists who were about to fire mortars into Israel. Israel said that on Tuesday alone, Palestinians fired 21 rockets and mortars against Israeli targets, bringing the total thus far this year to about 2,000.

lol...oh lordy.
Nailed. They won’t do that again.
especially if the missle platform is an unobservable pilotless drone
Dr. Rice and her antiAmerica and antiIsrael ilk at State want these defensive efforts to cease and desist.
I remember when “activists” hijacked four planes on the same day in the US.
The "T-word", of course, is out of the question. ...especially when modified by the "I-word" or "M-word."
Within the past year Isreal sent troops into southern Lebenon. In less than two weeks time, Isreal was begging US to get invloved and to get us to get the UN to put peace keepers into Lebanon. Isreal could have gone on and toppled the Syrian controlled Lebenese government, but instead choose to RUN AWAY.
Now, if your best ally in the middle east doesn't have the stomach to complete a necessary war, why the hell should we pretend that they would do so in the future?
I was going to call them rocket launchers
Thanks for your comments.
First, only Israel had the guts to take out Osirak and the
Syrian plutonium assembly facility.
Second, how do you know what you claim? History recorded something other than you purport.
Are you a diplomat at State? or something else?
Is D Qa’da anything on the islamic calendar for today, Dec.5,07? Anybody know what D Qa’da is??
What the hell planet are you living on?
Every war (with the possible exception of the last one, over the summer) has ended due to international pressure, usually through the UN, but in one case, the 1973 Yom Kippur war, the USSR threatened joining the war directly on the side of the arabs, when Israel was less than 50 miles from Damascus, and had hundreds of thousands of Egyptian troops surrounded, and had actually pushed across the Sinai into Egypt proper! In order to keep the USSR out of the war, the US demanded that Israel pull back and begin negotiations.
Israel may well be the only country in the history of the world that’s won every war they’ve entered into, but have still had to negotiate for peace, and give back land taken after they were attacked.
