MESA, Ariz. (AP) - Eight illegal immigrants were arrested during a protest outside of a Phoenix furniture store that had hired sheriff's deputies to keep day laborers away.

Protesters have been demonstrating for the past six Saturdays at Pruitt's furniture store in east Phoenix against the arrests of illegal immigrants in the area.

Maricopa County sheriff's deputies had arrested 24 illegal immigrants in the area after stopping them for traffic violations.

The eight people arrested yesterday on suspicion of violating immigration laws were the first illegal immigrants taken into custody during the actual protests.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio says the protesters are destroying Pruitt's business and that he wanted to do something about it

Damn that guy deserves a medal for doing his job.
Guess his job may not be safe if Hillary’s illegal alien voters get their chance.

For future reference, that is “Concesion del Darwin” — roughly translated. I think it was Madison who called the states’ role in the federal system as “laboratories” where different approaches to problems can be tested. The Arizona test is working better than I had hoped. The elite so far have not completely thwarted it. The federal government has ceded the field, so the local/state governments have stepped in. Thankfully.

You gotta be nuts to screw around in Maricopa County! The law actually means something there.

Just how dumb were these people to do this in Arpaio’s jurisdiction?

That should cool things down amazingly.

Imagine, the nerve of that man to actually arrest illegal immigrants who were noisily and publicly protesting.

Why that one arrest might make “immigrant” afraid of exercising their right of obnoxious protest. Where will we get the next “Si, se puede” mob now?

They are both against illegal immigration and are both men of courage and conviction, as well as both are men who believe in the rule of law.

Contrary to the RINOS in our party, the rule of law does matter to most people and it matters greatly with most Americans.

Aha! Explains it! A couple months ago a friend of mine was driving me home. We passed this store and saw a news crew. I questioned about why they would have a news crew there. He said it probably had something to do with them wanting to stop illegals from being on their property. Looks like he was right.
