HONG KONG -(Dow Jones)- Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer Inc. (PFE) said Friday it is looking to outsource as much as 30% of its manufacturing, much of it to Asia.

You know, quality control is a good thing
especially when it is useful to know what drug you are taking
the dose, adsorption kinetics, and adulterants
My, these pills seem heavier than they used to be... and they taste kind of like metal...
Viagra really will put lead in your pencil.
Mine taste like candy!
I'll admit I've tried some of those Chinese Viagra pills.

Wut’s dat?
:)
Viagra with lead in it? Umm, not a bad idea, come to think of it.

Wow, a little over a month has passed since this post and major news from Pfizer. Looks like the only thing iscool is guilty of is speaking too soon. Merck and others will soon have to follow to be competitive to the race to the bottom for the lowest labor. Let's see what another 1 or 2 years will bring in the drug industry.
You mean he was wrong? Thanks.
I live where Pfizer is a long time and substantial employer...Been known for some time that this branch of Pfizer was closing it’d door to the U.S. in favor of moving to China...
It is amazing that they perceive (and maybe are right) that the risk of operating in a communist country is better than the risk of operating in the US.
Something to think about..............................
Does that mean Asians will be paying more for their meds?
