Carrying swords and machetes and waving green Islamic flags, protesters marched through the streets of Khartoum yesterday demanding the execution of British teacher Gillian Gibbons. "No one lives who insults the prophet," read one of the banners outside the British embassy.
More than 1,000 Muslim demonstrators in the Sudanese capital called for her to be shot or stabbed for insulting Islam after her pupils called a teddy bear Muhammad.
Gibbons, 54, of Liverpool, was sentenced on Thursday night to 15 days in jail followed by deportation in a case that has attracted international condemnation.
Last night she was moved from the women's prison where she was being held to a secret location across the Nile for her own safety.
British Muslim groups have been especially harsh in their criticism of the Sudanese government, saying the verdict has harmed Islam's image.
The Foreign Office was caught off guard, having assumed that a deal had been struck to acquit Gibbons and allow her to return home. After the foreign secretary, David Miliband, called in Sudan's ambassador, Omer Siddig, for a second time on Thursday night to protest against the decision, the Sudanese authorities are understood to have agreed to allow Gibbons to be released today . But the angry protests mean that is no longer certain.
While many in Khartoum thought the arrest was harsh - the Sudanese blogosphere is awash with derision aimed at the authorities - leaflets were distributed at some mosques calling for protests against Gibbons after Friday prayers.

How do you like them apples?
PS don't bring a machete to a gunfight.
First hand visual evidence shows time and again its the Religion of murderous freaking lunatics.
Modern day savages...
Funny how Islam is always the common denominator these days...
Can’t believe the six-year old is getting off scott free. Talk about a double standard. Off with his head I say.
Religion of peace on full display...
Did they have this one too?

They think that violence in the name of MO is not violence.
"Having chosen an animal that was "alien" to our land is the worst offense to Islam. Had she used an amimal native to the Sudan such as the scorpion or rattlesnake she would have been seen as less offensive to our prophet." < / sarcasm off >
lol!!
I may infiltrate a protest sometime, Protest Warrior style, with one of those! :p
GO ahead, copy, print, enlarge.

"And now we would like to introduce our 'Undecided Republicans'
who want to ask you some questions."

More proof that the followers of mohammed (may fleas be upon him) are barbarians.
Back in the day, the correct application of Maxim guns did pretty well at stopping it.
Where was CNN when we needed them? Feel more than sorry for this teacher; she will have to watch more than her back, for the rest of her life. . .and she may have very few invitations to dinner. . .or lunch et al.
Meantime, N.O.W. watches the train wreck; or rather, the 'train wreck' that is N.O.W.; remains just that.
No matter the country. . .the MO; there is 'death' in Political Correctness; and it is just this MO of PC; that prevents the Left from 'going there' as PC defines 'their side' as well. Behind the extremism; they are 'birds of a feather'.
Meantime, can this teacher go home, safely. . .to Londonstan? Does she have a country to go home to?
The face of the Enemy.
Well I think it’s disgraceful! Naming a sweet fuzzy little teddy bear after a violent person like Moe Howard! We have to set a good example, and put aside the relics of our bloodthirsty past...

(Warning: the clip features Moe and an eyeful of Julie Newmar at the end, appealing to TWO base instincts!)
Here is ironical quote from old book...
“The popular idea in the West was that Islam attained its great success within and without Arabia by violent means. “While the state was exhausted by the Persian war,” writes Gibbon on the Roman Empire, “. . . Mohammed, with the sword in one hand and the Koran in the other, erected his throne on the ruins of Christianity and of Rome.” 1 Modern scholars only rarely commit themselves to such hasty and general verdicts. 2 “
It continues, and this is it:
“There are, on the other hand, some moderm scholars who discount to a large extent the violent means and maintain that Islam was mainly spread by “preaching.” 3 “

I’m surprised they aren’t also calling fo the deaths of all the pupils.
Great comment, SkyPilot.
Well it look like CAIR finally responded to this.

WHAT WOULD MUHAMMAD DO? - PART 2
By Ibrahim Hooper

During last years protests over publication of the Danish cartoons designed to insult the Prophet Muhammad, I wrote a commentary called What Would Muhammad Do?
Given the ongoing controversy over the jailing of British teacher Gillian Gibbons in the Sudan for insulting Islam, perhaps it is time to remind us all how the Prophet himself reacted to insults, both real and perceived.
Even if Ms. Gibbons had the intent to cause insult, which does not seem to be the case, Islamic traditions include a number of instances in which the Prophet had the opportunity to retaliate against those who abused him, but refrained from doing so.
You do not do evil to those who do evil to you, but you deal with them with forgiveness and kindness. (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
That description of the Prophet Muhammad is a summary of how he reacted to personal attacks and abuse.
Muslims are taught the tradition of the woman who would regularly throw trash on the prophet as he walked down a particular path. The prophet never responded in kind to the womans abuse. Instead, when she one day failed to attack him, he went to her home to inquire about her condition.
In another tradition, the prophet was offered the opportunity to have God punish the people of a town near Mecca who refused the message of Islam and attacked him with stones. Again, the prophet did not choose to respond in kind to the abuse.
A companion of the prophet noted his forgiving disposition. He said: I served the prophet for ten years, and he never said uf (a word indicating impatience) to me and never blamed me by saying, Why did you do so or why didn’t you do so? (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
Even when the prophet was in a position of power, he chose the path of kindness and reconciliation.
When he returned to Mecca after years of exile and personal attacks, he did not take revenge on the people of the city, but instead offered a general amnesty.
In the Quran, Islams revealed text, God states: When (the righteous) hear vain talk, they withdraw from it saying: Our deeds are for us and yours for you; peace be on to you. We do not desire the way of the ignorant. . .O Prophet (Muhammad), you cannot give guidance to whom you wish, it is God Who gives guidance to whom He pleases, and He is quite aware of those who are guided. (28:55-56)
The Quran also says: Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching, and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knows best who have strayed from His Path and who receive guidance. (16:125)
Another verse tells the prophet to show forgiveness, speak for justice and avoid the ignorant. (7:199)
These are the examples that Muslims should follow as they express concern at the publication of insulting cartoons or at misperceived actions of a well-meaning teacher.
After the Danish cartoon controversy and allegations of Quran desecration at Guantanamo Bay, CAIR initiated educational campaigns as a peaceful, constructive response. This is an approach that people of all faiths can appreciate, as it helps us move toward respect and religious tolerance.
SEE: http://cair.com/explorethequran/ and http://cair.com/muhammad/
This most recent episode can be used as a learning opportunity for people of all faiths who wish to promote mutual understanding. It can also be viewed as a teaching moment for Muslims who want to emulate the Prophet through the example of their good character and dignified behavior.
As the Quran states: It may well be that God will bring about love (and friendship) between you and those with whom you are now at odds. (60:7)
This weeks unfortunate incident in the Sudan points to the need for an increased level of dialogue between ordinary people in the Muslim world and the West.
The complaint brought against Gillian Gibbons was an inappropriate use of Sudans legal system to deal with what was in essence a disagreement between parents and a teacher. Ms. Gibbons should never have been charged. She should be released immediately.

Peace huh ?

Nice crowd.Does the Air Force still inventory napalm or would the newer cluster munitions handle a group that size?
That open mouth would be an excellent aiming point.
Notice that the Brit Muslims are NOT saying there's anything wrong with the verdict itself. They're upset that news of the verdict has "harmed Islam's IMAGE"

It's nowhere near being ironic. Out-right revisionist mendacity, is what it is.
Or blew up.
Islam is the darling of the suicidal MSM these days , both here and in England. They are taking the play book from the 60s black radicals , claiming racism at every turn and setting themselves up as the victims and part of the untouchable class. Coming to a neighborhood near you soon enough.
CAIR is a MOST dangerous organization . Watch what happens folks.
People here won’t learn . Islam has most people feeling sorry for then . The Liberals LOVE Islam( because they hate the US )
My buddy last night said we should buy some little bears and dress them up as Mohammad and sell them on line. We’d make a fourtune I bet . Looks like someone beat us to it. We’d also have to carry guns from now on as well if we actually did it .

" You big bad Muslims had better watch out or I'll poke you with my sword".
For these Mussies, life’s a fantasy ride in the world dreamed up by Mohammad. It is a way to escape from the real world—literally.
I wondered where you managed you get a quote as vacuous, vapid as anything could be, thinking surely you invented the quote out of whatever political antagonism you might have had towards Captain Law
and Order.
I googled the quote and to my astonishment there it was "Freedom is About Authority" in myriad, innumerable results and I'm still shaking my head in disbelief.
I've been rather unresponsive towards Rudy one way or another never having fallen for any of his so-called, legendary 9/11 super-herculean antics and histrionics. But you know on this statement alone I believe he is unqualified, unfit for any public office let alone the Presidency of the US and want to commend for adopting it as your very own.
Say what you will , I was in NYC on 9/11 and Rudy was amazing in how he put everything together that day . Guess you had to be there and i guess you’d have to see it through glasses that were not colored with your presidential choices. You don’t have to like him for president but there is no way anyone can see the reality of those few days and not commend him . It was a massive organizational job in the middle of unreal chaos . I was there my my friend . A lesser man would have been running around like a chicken with no head.
I just don't understand why some people do not see this religion as peaceful. I mean they tell us they are peaceful. So, words speak louder then actions. Right? Why can't we take them for their word and allow them to roll heads? Can't we see they are peaceful and tolerant? Are we blind? /SAC OR JUST STUPID?
In the field of Republicans, he is for me, if not the de-facto candidate and eventual leader of the free world then definitely the default guy, above and beyond the utter vehemence, contempt and revulsion I have for Hillary.
There's absolute nothing, nothing at all to know anymore than anybody else about the all-encompassing event of 9/11 by having been at Broadway and John Street on that horrible, tragic morning or wherever incredible vantage point you happen to have so fortuitously been positioned to speak with an authority about events nobody has a right to claim.
As far as what/where Rudy was, what he did, how he did it, on that fateful day is so fraught with as much ambiguity and confusion as anything could possibly be and I find it incomprehensible that you speak with such clarity and authority about events no one has any real inkling about.
Everything I expressed about Rudy remains unchanged that despite my support for him, Rudy has some very serious flaws that concern me.
I think that it’s time for a new Crusade. Turn the Middle East into faintly glowing glass. That’s something the rest of them will understand.
“Muzzie-Wuzzie was a bear” .....
Muhammad was a child molesting, camel humping fraud.
Feh.
I'd bet your swords against my arsenal any day.
Islam is a mental disorder, and it's practicioners are fools with inadequate sexual capacity and skills.
Bring it, a-holes!
