Islamic attacks on Savage target advertisers
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | November 28, 2007

Nationally syndicated radio talk-show host Michael Savage, whose program originates in San Francisco even though the city's board of supervisors condemned his opinions, apparently is remaining largely unaffected by a campaign to put pressure on his advertisers.

And Savage, author of "The Savage Nation" and several other books, now is getting some support in his face-off with the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

As WND reported, the founder of CAIR, the leading Islamic lobby group, reportedly told a group of Muslims in California they are in America not to assimilate but to help assert Islam's rule over the country. CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper also has said, in a newspaper interview, he hopes to see an Islamic government over the U.S. some day, brought about not by violence but through "education."

That organization recently issued an announcement that OfficeMax, a leading office products retailer, had joined "a growing list of companies" withdrawing advertising from Savage's program because of his opinions regarding Islam.

Now, the group ACT for America has launched an alert suggesting people call OfficeMax to encourage the company to reverse the decision.

The organization, an issues advocacy group seeking to organize and mobilize grassroots citizen action in promoting America's national security and defense of its democratic values against radical Islam, said in its announcement the voice of grassroots America "is much, much larger than CAIR's."

"Call the OfficeMax office headquarters … and when you get an operator, in a polite but firm manner, tell the operator you have heard about the company's decision to stop advertising on the Michael Savage program because of the pressure from CAIR. Tell them you will no longer shop at OfficeMax until OfficeMax reverses this ill-advised decision," the advisory said.

I’ll remind the Office Max person that there is a Staples less that 1/4 mile from my nearest Office Max.

Easy to pick Staples over Office Max to do my shopping.

Along the same lines, I called Lowe’s hardware and advised I would not be shopping there anymore due to getting a spanish lesson every time I went there. I drive five miles further to Home Depot. I will call These folks too. I was given some drivel about multiculturalism crap and hung up.

I’m not a great fan of Savage (though I think his support for the marines is heroic). I also don’t get much of a chance to listen to any talk radio and hardly ever hear Savage.

I will do this:

If someone could please post a list of companies that are cutting Savage, I will boycott them for the rest of my life.

And if someone will also post a list of companies that advertise on his show, I will make a point, whenever possible, to patronize them.

I hate CAIR. I like what Coulter calls them: NAACB. National Association for the Advancement of Car Bombers.

I will do my best to support any company that doesn’t knuckle under to the threats of the car bombers, and I will forever boycott any of the PC pussies that get on their knees and suck car-bomber-toes.

Guess that would be sort of like a form of 'male liberation', eh?

The left and islam, champions of censoring one's right to speak out concerning the left's and islam's evil plans. If Americans can be made to be quiet (censored), the left and islam can sneak up on All Americans, to do their evil. The left and islam, the two devils shaking hands, relying on Americans to not listen to the warnings of those still speaking out against them.

God bless Brigitte! She is a brave voice in this country, and she speaks from the experience of one whose country was ruined by the very forces that are at work in this country now.

C.A.I.R.’s militant wing most likely has posted a bounty for Michael Wier Savage’s assasination. America’s freedoms are under domestic assault. Savage is a patriot who is brave enough to expose the responsible IslamoFacists . He has my support.

Yeah, but I only hate one of the five on that cover.

IMO, Savage's show is unlistenable. Tried on more than one occasion. Couldn't take Mark Levin either, but he's (somewhat) mellowed his tone (but there are times I gotta shut him off, too).

I didn’t like Savage at first, but got used to some of the “unlistenable” parts. When I first heard Levin I thought, “this guy sounds just like Mike.”

They have different shows, but many times say, essentially, the same things.
