If CNN or MSNBC, or whoever it is that’s paying him for his “thoughts” would stop the paychecks, he’d quickly disappear.

He also gigs on NPR - PBS— gently knocking heads with lieberals. He is a kind of conservative curmudgeon...sickening at times really.

Good on you, friend.

It’s sad to see what this board is becoming.

Find a better site. Problem solved.

Good luck.

Oh, so, with your view, we can’t win for losing.

That is a meaningless point of view.

Pat’s an incorrigible optimist.

We’re not headed for disaster, parts of the country are knee-deep in it already, and have been for a while.

It’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

....while their working schleps have to suck up the slack.

Hello China? We need some more of that cheap junk we can put the Made In The USA sticker on.

Is Pat “SS” Buchanan blaming the support for the “jews” again for America’s problems?

It never takes long for some idiot to refer to Buchanan as a Nazi.

OK, aside Bush and friends name calling smear tactics to get Buchanan out of the Republican Party primary, just what tangible basis do you have for such an accusation?

If anything the world is becoming America...-—where will it end is the question?

Pat needs to get out more and stop being such a sad sack.

Seems these days that more and more FReepers resort to name calling

Crybaby.... yesterday, I resorted to name calling.. crybaby, today I resorted to name calling... Crybaby.... and tomorrow I will resort to name calling... whiner....

And if I wanted to debate about Pat Bucchanan, I'd shout at a wall wearing a tinfoil hat, standing in a bowl of cold nacho cheese.... it has about as much meaning.

He obviously doesn’t like US support for Israel. He also favors a Palestinian state and he was opposed to any military action against any Arab state.

Yes. Pat just about nails it.

We cannot afford to continue to dissolve our manufacturing base, our knowledge base and our currency.

The “free trade” people are destroying America.

To line their own pockets.

China ain’t dirt. They treat 95% of their population like dirt.

They manipulate their markets and use slave labor to push product. Their day of reckoning will come.

China is not “becoming America”.

China is *replacing* America.

You are ok with that??

The greatest invasion in history, from the Third World, is swamping the ethno-cultural core of the country, leading to Balkanization and the loss of the Southwest to Mexico.

If it comes to that, I'd be in favor of invading Mexico and declaring it a U.S. territory. In fact, we could take everything from Mexico down to Panama. Take their land, take their oil, and tax their people. We can take Canada and Cuba too. It won't be a "North American Union", it will be the complete hegemony of the United States over the continent of North America.

We may have to do that in any case, since Russia and China are busy working to expand their territories and influence against our national interests.

China is *replacing* America.

are you saying we torture our citizens and rely on a strong slave market?...

Much of what he says is pretty obvious.

A lot of things seem obvious after we have read them or heard them spoken by others.

I’m saying we are exporting everything we know and make, to China.

At the current trends, China will become what we were: the world’s leader.

And we will become what China was:

Poor and backward. At the mercy of others. Who, unlike us ... have none.

I’m OK with China being almost completely financially dependent on the US. Aren’t you?
