If it comes to that, I'd be in favor of invading Mexico and declaring it a U.S. territory. In fact, we could take everything from Mexico down to Panama. Take their land, take their oil, and tax their people. We can take Canada and Cuba too. It won't be a "North American Union", it will be the complete hegemony of the United States over the continent of North America.
We may have to do that in any case, since Russia and China are busy working to expand their territories and influence against our national interests.

A lot of things seem obvious after we have read them or heard them spoken by others.
I’m saying we are exporting everything we know and make, to China.
At the current trends, China will become what we were: the world’s leader.
And we will become what China was:
Poor and backward. At the mercy of others. Who, unlike us ... have none.
I’m OK with China being almost completely financially dependent on the US. Aren’t you?
