Well, I wouldn't eat them, so I guess I'm confused.

You're an alien from some other planet then because no one from Earth would ever refuse this.

Sweet Potato Pie

4 medium sweet potatoes
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1/2 cup evaporated milk

1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Boil the potatoes until soft, then peel and place them into a mixing bow. Beat until there are no lumps remaining. Add the eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt, nutmeg, butter and milk; beat until creamy.

Pour into pie shell and bake in a 350° oven until crust is brown.

They're too big to be suppositories.

But they have been used as a pessary.

Honey Baked Ham Company makes the BEST sweet potato souffle. I have looked for years for a similar recipe.

Sweet potatoes, brown sugar, butter, heavy cream, pecans....

What else? I have tried to find the recipe, but you know - the old ‘family secret’ stuff.

It’s so good I could eat the stuff every day!

Cinnamon Butter. One stick softened butter, one tablespoon light brown sugar (you can use dark, but IMHO it doesn't look as good.) and one teaspoon cinnamon. On baked sweet 'taters.

I usually make 3 sticks worth, the cinnamon butter is in demand long after the sweet potatoes are gone for toast or oatmeal.

But they have been used as a pessary.

Very true. As have most vegetables.
