NEW YORK (AP) -- Twenty years after her allegations of a racially charged rape became a national flash point, Tawana Brawley's mother and stepfather want to reopen the case, a newspaper reported Sunday.
Glenda Brawley and Ralph King want to press New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer and state Attorney General Andrew Cuomo to re-examine the November 1987 incident, which a state grand jury ultimately concluded was a hoax, the Daily News reported.

There were two or three aspects of this case...which weren’t really answered. We still don’t know where she was for the four days, and she has yet to ever explain it...to her parents or the public. If it were all bogus...then at some point...you’d normally admit it and move on. In this case...she moved on...never admitting it. The fact that she hasn’t become a drugged out junkie...leads me to the curious situation of thinking that someone in the NY cop circles...was involved in this...and it wasn’t as bogus as we always thought. The strange thing today...is why bring this back up, unless they really truly believed in what she said.

Two things. First, the involved parties must be in need of cash.
Second, if Brawley is now a muzzl’em, she should be stoned to death or lashed to death for being raped. Whoever raped her should be told not to do that again for a while.

Follow the money. It was pouring into coffers of Sharpton and the Brawleys back in the days. Even Bill Cosby gave to the cause. But Andrew Cuomo is AG now and since his dad was the governor who eventually closed down the extortionists, I doubt this will get much traction.

I thought after the Brawley hoax, Sharpton would never talk about her or the case when he was being interviewed. Now all of a sudden he will be ok about talking about it?
