We needed Hunter all along. None of this comes as a big surprise to me. Remember the days of “Run, Fred, Run? Everyone was waiting to see what he would do and were withholding support to see what he would do.

Well, this is what he will do, now we know. Recently, Romney was selected as the most conservative candidate in some poll. Huckabee has pandered his way into the heat of the fray now So here we are, Same ole Same ole, again. That is if we are extremely fortunate and don’t end up with JUlie-Anti.

Giuliani 29 %
Huckabee 12 %
Romney 12 %
Thompson 12 %
McCain 10 %

That tells me 46% cant abide Guiliani

I agree with you about Mitt.

I am not a Mitt supporter.

His baggage is just a little less than Rudy’s.

Actually, he took the conservative position on 23 out of 24 issues when he debated Kennedy.

What you call spam is merely evidence to rebut your erroneous charges:

See Romney vs. Kennedy here

And for the 100th time, Romney NEVER supported gay marriage. Equal rights - yes. Gay marriage -- NEVER.

Have you ever seen a candidate with so much baggage?

Come, my FRiend. Join me in 2007. Ronald Reagan was once a democrat. Thank goodness that didn't disqualify him from being president. Luckily, people judged him on who he had become not where he started.

Some other things that have been looked upon in recent weeks have been comments you made about Jesse Helms and Ronald Reagan back in 1994—critical comments. Do you regret making those? And could you put those in a context to explain to conservatives what you were trying to say?

"When I was running for office for the first time in 1994, I was trying to define who I was, not who I wasn’t. I was trying to define that I was an individual who had his own views and perspectives and I wasn’t a carbon copy of someone else. I’ve said since, and continue to reiterate, that one of my heroes is Ronald Reagan.

I’ve been asked time and again in interviews, who are your heroes? And I mention Ronald Reagan and Teddy Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower among others as some of my favorite heroes, and I feel that deeply. But I am a different person than any other person and my interest is, of course, looking forward to defining who I am.

Of course, now there’s no need for me to try to define myself in reference to others. I’ve got a record. And people can look at my record and see, for instance, that when people were clamoring to raise taxes in Massachusetts, I said “no” and we held the line on taxes, and held the line and borrowing, and we balanced our budget. They can see that I vetoed literally hundreds of line items in budgets because I thought there was too much spending. They can see that I fought for better schools. They can see that I fought for a better environment. And they can recognize that a lot what Ronald Reagan was doing I’m also doing.

So I’m pretty proud to follow in his legacy, if you will, recognizing, of course, that there’s some differences. He’s just a lot better than anyone else I know."

Huckabee has a proven track record of being a corrupt socialist.

Hunter is the author of the border fence bill.
Also part of his dist. borders along the Mexican Border.

Here in San Diego, the border crossing into Tijuana is the largest and busiest in the world.

East of it Hunter has built several miles of the double fence and Homeland Sec. have been dragging their feet on it.

Hunter has been to the White House and asked Bush why it is not being built on through AZ, NM and TX

Hunter has been on the problem of illegals for years, long before others knew what illegals were.

If the primary were today, who would you vote for?

It wouldn't be for the Huckster, that's for damn sure.

Dingleberry has all the sincerity of a Jan & Paul Crouch TBN telethon. What in the hell is it with Hope, Arkansas?

Makes no sense that Republicans in Iowa or any state would go with Mike Huckabee. Huckabee wants to raise taxes, give more control to the Feds over our daily lives, and supports amnesty. He has no chance of defeating Hillary.

Really. Why do they need Huck AKA Hillary-lite, when they can have the real thing if that's what they want?
