Laura Ingraham is an intellectual lightweight. She doesn’t do her homework on the issues. I stopped listening to her a long time ago.
I heard that interview also. When Step-on-all-of-us said he wasn’t aware of Bill Clinton receiving questions planted, I said to myself, “Yeah sure, right”.
These reporters are being threatened with their lives. Now, instead bowing down from fear, blogs and YouFool levels the playing fields.——for now
Unfortunately, Laura was too busy chortling about being on The View, and yep, she gave Stuffinenvelopes a ‘pass’.
She is what she is. Personally, I’d rather have Tony Snow back in her time slot on 55WKRC out of Cincinnati.
I stopped listening too. Like Hannity, here “more conservative than thou” ‘tude got to be grating. Indeed, I think those two’s constant GOP bashing helped the Democrats in ‘06 by depressing turnout...
I gave up on her when she could not help spending large portions of each show on the most pointless empty chit chat with her producer and staff, ON AIR. I don’t mind a quick personal aside now and then, but when entertainers think every bit of mindless chatter that has nothing to do with real issues is of great significance, I’m finished with them.
You should have heard the interview with that idiot RAT consultant Backle(sp ?) from FOX! The RATS are the ones who have turned this country upside down...NOT both parties!! UGH, she let him skate too!
If they were, the Iraq war would have been over long ago.
I do understand that I don't have the burden of making a whole show happen day in and day out, but not availing themselves of actionable information that would have an impact is unforgivable.
Didn't catch it as I had turned off the radio.
I think she enjoys being an elite.
Much of the time, getting along with her fellow elites, even those in the enemy camp, is more important than supporting conservative ideology.
That is true of many of the conservative elite and is why I get ALL my news updates here on FR, amongst my fellow rabble.
It's well documented that Bubba will at select the questions to be answered at least 24 hours in advance.
Here in Philadelphia, Larry Kane is the Dean of the local news reporters. Kane was advertised as the MC for a Clinton appearance, a fundraiser for the Temple Kane attends. When I informed Kane of the ground rules that Clinton's agency (Harry Walker) had retroactively imposed on the event, i.e., he selects from pre-submitted questions, Kane told me that if that were the case, he would not participate.
True to his word and journalistic intergrity, Kane did not appear at a significant event at his own house of worship. That's integrity.
Then there E.J Didone of the Washington Compost. When Bubba appeared at the Constitution Center, the same ground rules did not prevent E.J. from being going along with the deception. Nobody knew that Bubba censored some questions and selected others, and that he had time to formulate his answer.
It is absolute horsesh** from Georgie.
Their town hall forums were heavily screened. The girl who famously asked about “boxers or briefs” was the daughter of a journalist. She sat with her mother at the kitchen table discussing the possible questions for the forum and settled on one about recreational drug use legalization. The question was rejected by the hosts and she was instructed to ask something lighter, ergo the boxers or briefs question.
George lies like all Stalinists.
She did a good job of taking Tony Snow, Bush White House Press Secretary, to task on Illegal Immigration.
Laura needs to improve the signal to noise ratio and preparation. I frequently have to turn her show off when I'm working in the afternoon. It's more distracting than informative.
Who needs screeching first thing in the morning?
‘She did a good job of taking Tony Snow, Bush White House Press Secretary, to task on Illegal Immigration’
Yep. That just underlines the lack of consistency in my opinion.
Exactly. My guess is her audience has shrunk as her ego has grown. I think she's unlistenable now.
