Re Obama and that photo....
My mother-in-law...a nice lady but a flaming liberal from Massachusetts....emailed ME a copy of that photo.
She explained in the email that the photo made her very, very angry. I was surprised as hell when I saw the photo. It had, by the time she sent it to me, made the rounds and I knew about it.
That’s a photo the ladies in the beauty parlor would understand it’s about is what I’m saying here.
although, heh, MIL denied being a liberal when I accused her of same during a recent visit. “Don’t call me a liberal,” she warned and if nothing else, I was joyous that she considered it an insult.
Although...she is a liberal. She says she’s going to vote for John Edwards so let that be a clue.
Heh.
We need Republican operatives...a GOP Carville if you will, to get on this stuff.
That bit about Hillary stiffing the waitress is also the kind of the thing the ladies at the beauty parlor understand. That was so typical of the beast.
If that had been a Republican that stiffed a poor waitress Carville would have been all over the air ways spitting about nasty pubbies and their lack of understanding of the working class.
Guys with endless foreheads would be pontificating to Wolf Blitzer about the GOP’s distance from the little guy and Move-On.org would have placed a hugely discounted ad in the NY Times depicting an elephant stomping a waitress to death.
The pubbies? They’re too polite.

Speaking of Rush, senate dems learned the hard way. 2 days ago, a Florida teacher tried some dirty trick to insult our Miltary,
Until Rush got involved.
Result - Rush Won.

We do have Ann Coulter doing exactly what you recommend, and she drives the left nuts.

Pat, I’m also convinced that if the GOP did this, the DBM wouldn’t allow it to be shown, discussed, or otherwise find an audience. WE face TWO enemies.
To: jmyrlefuller
No offense taken,we should pride ourselves on being able to discuss most anything here. And we should not forget that we are the good guys not the clowns at DU or Move-on.

Good morning, FRiends and Happy Veterans Days to all who served!!!
A few comments from my Fox & Friends viewing this weekend...
Hosts Greg Kelly and Kelly Wright were honored for their service...Greg is a Marine, Kelly was in the Army. Thanks, guys!
From yesterdays show:
The Friends discuss Questiongate concluding that this story was indeed important because it reinforced the idea that Mrs. Clinton is deceptive. (thought that was daring)
Later in the show...Dem (Jenny) and Repub (Angela) strategists debate Questiongate and Mrs. Clintons honesty. The Dem thinks it was overblown, of course. Hillary Clinton can take as many tough questions that are thrown at her... (Ha!) Greg Kelly brings up FEMAs fake presser. The Repub says, Hillary will do anything to win this election...her trust numbers are down. Even her own aides dont have faith in her to answer questions.
"Is Hillary willing to do anything to be president?" asks Greg. Jenny says, "It's no problem because Hillary is beating all the Repubs...people want a TOUGH president and her campaign is tight." She then goes on to talk about the fireworks that night in Iowa. (who cares)
Greg brings up W's town hall meetings with prescreened guests. Angela says that he's the President, of course he chooses guests, and anyway, he's not running now. She mentions that Edwards and Richardson don't do it.
Finally, Greg asks if Bubba is a liability. Dem chick says, no, and something like, "but he's not used to all these media people asking questions all the time." (huh?)
Todays discussion on Questiongate featured Ellen Ratner and Jim Pinkerton. Ellen immediately launched into the FEMA presser and Armstrong Williams; Kelly cut her right off saying that Bush wasnt running and turned to Jim. Jim says that her handlers have to protect her because by herself speaking in the raw, shes no good. Ellen says they should let her loose. Jim brings up her Tammy Wynette speech which he thinks was disastrous. Ellen says, Thats your fantasy
I thought it was good!
They then turn to the Kerik investigation. Ellen says that Rudy should help his legal defense; Jim brings up the fact that both Senators Clinton and Schumer endorsed Kerik.
In other news, Bono gushes over Queen Bee Pelosi, saying that for her he will put on a tie. I missed Carl Cameron's report from Iowa but heard that the Breck Girl intends on going after Mrs. Clinton even more. However when speaking to the Beltway Boys, he said that this tactic is hurting him because Iowans dont dig negative.

Did anybody chance to see John McCain with his mother the other night on Hardball? Seems the old gal said something insulting to Mormans and John’s got to cover the flap.
Also.....how about that Sarkozy, huh? I expect every GOP prez candidate to be quoting his speeches from this past week and I would think they’d use his wonderful speech as rebuttal to the constant drumbeat that America has a bad reputation in the world.
McCain’s going to be on Fox this morning....that bit with his mother was so pathetic as to be positively embarrassing. McCain needs to give it up.

We have Rush and others, but you are right we never have enough operatives(purveyors of the truth) to cover all the juicy stuff the rats can do in their never ending quest to self-destruct.
