Adolpho Chavez was arrested Nov. 4 at the weight scales on I-94 in Grass Lake Township after Michigan State Police found bundles of the drug among pallets of sport drink in the back of Chavez’s semitrailer.
He is charged with possession with intent to deliver more than 45 kilograms of marijuana. The felony is punishable by up to 15 years in prison and a $1 million fine.”
