I don’t see anything there indicating that Scaife has “joined hands with” Clinton, Soros, et al. Just that he has become adamantly opposed to continuing US military involvement in Iraq. There are plenty of political figures who are quite conservative and disagree with the Clinton/Soros gang on nearly everything, who are nonetheless calling for US withdrawal from Iraq. Those with isolationist motivations for that stance, for instance, are hardly part of the Clinton/Soros/UN push for a global socialist system of government. E.g. I would hardly describe Ron Paul or Pat Buchanan as political bedfellows of Clinton and Soros.

We shouldn’t be so quick to declare that someone like Scaife has “converted” to the Clinton/Soros/UN camp, when in fact no such thing has happened. The message that will be received in real Clinton/Soros/UN supporter circles is “SEE, a conservative biggie has seen the light and become one of us.” Ain’t so, and there’s no reason to energize them like that.

I am canceling my subscription to Newsmax. The issue about George Soros got me hooked. I bought copies for many people of this issue and began subscribing. No more. I glance at the covers now as the lead stories don’t interest me. Now I know why!!!!!!!!!

We get a financial new letter from them as well. Now I can switch to the Limbaugh Letter.

“funding ... Newt Gingrich’s GOPAC,”

I wonder whether this has caused Newt’s softened attack on Hitlery.

This is why I am hesitant to promote very many people as the voice of conservatism...except Ann Coulter, because she’s hot.

You forgot the sarcasm tag.

President Bush is the greatest political leader since Lincoln. He is a master military strategist. Genius is rarely recognized by contemporaries. Someday, historians will rank President Bush with the likes of Alexander, Julius Caesar and Napoleon.

Let’s break this down point by point.

President Bush is the greatest political leader since Lincoln. - I haven’t read Team of Rivals but apparently the point was “keep your friends close and your enemies closer”. Bush hasn’t really done this nor has he effectively communicated his policies, positions, or decisions. So can’t go along with this one. I can agree that the level of hate and vitriol directed at Bush rivals that directed towards Lincoln. That is quite true.

He is a master military strategist. Ummm - no he’s not. He had a single idea, which he has pursued with a single-minded determination - to wit to topple Saddam (to do what his Daddy didn’t do), do bring democracy (or some version thereof) to the mideast, to establish an American presence next to 2 of our important enemies (good one that) and to take Iraq off the table as an immediate threat. But in the end this is a single good idea, not evidence of another Alexander in the making.

Someday, historians will rank President Bush with the likes of Alexander, Julius Caesar and Napoleon. And someday monkeys will fly out of my butt (to quote Wayne from Wayne’s World). Or not.

Keep in mind that I’m saying all of this as a Bush supporter not as some moonbat freako victim of Bush Derangement Syndrome. But let’s keep our feet firmly on the ground. Bush had a single good idea and he’s never wavered from that. So he gets kudos for that. But Napoleon, or Caeser - not very likely.

Oh and the Genius not being recognized by contemporaries - OK sometimes true, sometimes not, but nevertheless...

You're not willing to go any higher than Alexander the Great, eh?

Just be patient, you'll see!!

Newsmax.... let’s see.

Gee,,,, if you all haven’t figured it out.....

Invaded by HRC plants, the growing internet challenger to the MSM needed growth funds.

Guess who was happy to provide those funds, and who is in ‘debt’ to HRC and co????

Gaining control of the internet was one of the Hillary War Room objectives, back when Bill was playing president.

“I don’t see anything there indicating that Scaife has “joined hands with” Clinton,”

Scaife isn’t just some putz with religious objections to war.

He carried out investigations into the Clinton corruption.

Now, once you ‘know’ what he did. What he has seen and read.

Then there is no way you could just turn you head to all that, unless you are ‘owned’.

IMHO, RM Scaife was told to back off. That if he did back off, that he could stay on running Newsmax, and it would not be among those websites that are going to be silenced by the HRC for President crowd.

I.E. He was being told his competition would be eliminated by his ‘new friends’.
