Polish soldiers commemorated
Created: Friday, November 2. 2007
The Ministry of National Defense has dedicated a special Internet gallery to soldiers killed overseas in Iraq, Afghanistan, but also Kosovo, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt.
The list of soldiers killed during missions abroad features 73 names. The Ministry has explained that the gallery is a tribute to the memory of the heroes who died while carrying out professional duties abroad.
The list is to be completed gradually. At present the gallery includes short biographies and information on the mission in which a given soldier was killed.
The Ministry has requested their families and friends to send in pictures and own comments.
The website features links concerning 15 missions, e.g. in Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Kosovo, Lebanon, as well as, for instance, Korea (in the 1950s) or Egypt (in the 1970s).
Only in the two most contentious ones, in Iraq and Afghanistan, 20 soldiers have been killed so far.

Link seems to be broken, but salute to our brothers and true allies in the war to save Western Civilization.
I don’t know why the link doesn’t work.
It’s working, if you copy and paste it to the search window above.
Honor i Ojczyzna!
Deserving of the Pulaski Award
The link in the story needs the “http://" pasted on the front of it, and then it will work fine.
Salute, lizol, and thank you. We are blessed to count the Poles among our friends in the world!
