On the heels of a St. Anselm College poll showing Ron Paul in fourth place with 7 percent in New Hampshire, the candidate is starting to spend some of those millions hes raised with radio ads and an upcoming TV ad. But Paul is also stepping up efforts in direct mail. The campaign put together a 12-page biographical pamphlet being mailed out in New Hampshire.
The New Hampshire Presidential Watch blog reports, The mailing comes at the same time that Ron Paul will spend $1 million on five New Hampshire television commercials.
Paul has also spent $430,000 on a new radio ad, which will run in New Hampshire, Iowa, South Carolina and Nevada. The 60-second ad, an appeal to New Hampshire independents, mentions Pauls name 11 times and focuses on conservative principles of spending, foreign policy and taxes and mentions flip-flopping Republicans and Bill Clinton.

How can this man even call himself a conservative? I have to mute the Teli every time he speaks. My next door neighbor who had Kerry signs last election now has a banner “Ron Paul Revolution.”
Cant quite put my finger on it, but he reminds me of our former(thank Heavens)Senator Tom little Daschle!

jmc813: Run Paulie is no pro-life champion but a two-faced libertarian phony. He tells pro-lifers that he is pro-life and files bills to ban all abortions (which, along with the rest of his bills, are NEVER pursued but are mere photo ops). SIMULTANEOUSLY, he assures the pro-aborts (many of whom are atheist libertarians) that he does not see federal jurisdiction to end abortion.
PaleoPaulie is effectively a pro-abort who will refuse to get ANYTHING done to end abortion. Just one more instance of Dr. Demento viewing the constitution as a crippling document preventing us from doing what is right to end the American Holocaust. He is a fake, a phony and a fraud.
The one and only thing that is "awesome" about Dr. Demento and his pacifist weasel supporters is their delusion or Big Lie that he or they have anything whatsoever to do with actual conservatism.

Hey, he may be giving aid and comfort to the enemy, and he may want to cripple American influence overseas, and he may get support from racist skinheads and Stalinists, but by golly he wants to lower my taxes and can attract all types (of extremists) across the political spectrum! < / sarc >

His promoters are in all kinds of places that get your attention.
I saw a step van with big Ron Paul signs on either side and a Maryland telephone number parked in a front of a garage- gas station along a busy highway for a couple of weeks recently.
The garage-gas station was selling CITGO (Hugo Chavez) gasoline.
There are some other Ron Paul signs springing up in these parts.
Our PA primary isn’t even important unless he intends to keep it up through April by which we will probably know who the candidate is and he’d be in no position to win.
It must be about harrassing the GOP with his “message.”

2 dudes standing out on a street corner in Memphis ain’t a big push for Paul, it’s an advertisement for wanting to buy crack. Then, of course, they might not necessarily be mutually exclusive.

Vote for Rupaul: bring the terrorists home, NOW! Somehow, I can't see President Ron Paul signing a spending bill into law that funds a federal program to recruit muzzies to emigrate to the US, or giving billions of dollars of military aid to muzzie countries, or leaving our borders unprotected in a time of war, or allowing radical muzzies to recruit converts in our maximum security prisons, etc. etc. etc.
All of which our "great protector from the muslim threat" Jorge Arbusto does now.
Heck, I can't even see President Paul inviting the leader of the nation than provided most of the 9-11 terrorists into his home and holding his hand like Jorge recently did.

Isn't that a good thing? A liberal progressive like your neighbor is supporting a guy who is pro life, pro borders and pro limited government. I would think that would be something that right wingers like us should be happy about.

No one sees federal jurisdiction for abortion unless you mean a Constitutional Amendment. Abortion/Murder/etc are decided at the STATE Level...well abortion was before Roe Vs Wade and Ron Paul has said he would put judges in that would repeal Roe vs Wade.

Never - his pro individual liberty, limited government, sound fiscal policy, free trade and non-interventionalist message has been consistent for as long as he's been in the public eye.
If he has any common ground with code pink or dennis kucinich, file that under "a broken clock is right twice a day".
Heck, I bet even me and you agree on a few things.

You're fortunate that the FR rule about lying about conservative candidate's records doesn't apply to Paul here, per FR management's disdain for Paul. If it were up to me, your posts lying about Paul's pro-life record would have been deleted already.

Per post #12 - I know you disagree with Paul’s anti-war views, but are you going to allow a poster to lie about Paul’s committment to the pro-life cause?
To: jmaroneps37

DYOFDW Oh come on! We have a poster here who is clearly lying about a candidate's conservative record, which is specifically against Forum rules. Now Paul might be anti-war but he is NOT a pro-abortionist. So are you going to delete the post or not?

To: Extremely Extreme Extremist
Either way, the guy is an idiot. The more people that come on this forum like that guy that just make up outright lies, the further into irrelevence this site will become. The right champions (at least used to) truth, honestly, and open debate. Some days on this forum, it’s more about slander, name calling, and outright lying. All because you disagree with Iraq. I agree with most here about Iraq, and believe we must absolutely stay the course. I disagree with RPaul but this is at the point that this site is getting close to kook level on him and a couple other subjects.

Hey, EEE. When someone posts a lie stating that a presidential candidate I strongly support is in favor of abortion, my pro-life feelings are very hurt. In other words, I feel that such a lie is both discourteous to me and is a personal attack on me. What do you think?
Please enjoy our forum, but also please remember to use common courtesy when posting and refrain from posting personal attacks...

Where? It's in the old Fred threads from the Spring. Back when the Rudybots used to try to drag Hunter and Fred down to Rudy's level, posts were deleted then. I think banned FReeper areafiftyone posted that one thread about Fred supporting abortion early on and FReepers called him out on it, and there was an unspoken rule about lying about conservative candidate's record.
It's not a stated rule....but still. Everybody and their Momma know that Paul is pro-life. Now is FR seriously going to allow posters to smear the work that Paul has done on behalf of our unborn both as a private citizen and as an elected official? Or the fact that Paul's foreign policy views are radioactive then he's fair game?
